Plate carrier is op. I was running around nwaf, got shot twice, unconscious both times but no bleeding and the plate carrier was only damaged.

In terms of realism, It's totally realistic. As long as it is inaccurate at medium-short ranges, who cares? It'd be fun to spam two CR75's at zeds in Cherno.

I don't "suffer" but I do notice a sizeable drop in FPS when I do record with OBS. My Upload speed on my Internet is also not enough to sustain a smooth 60 fps livestream...

I might have to look into this play.tv, I've used OBS forever and this sounds like it won't hurt performance as much, OBS absolutely destroys my fps even when i record in 30 frames, with games like CS:GO :huh:

If we think this out, I doubt BI would push an Xbox or PS4 "Early Access" until the Enfusion engine change is complete. However, this doesn't mean that they don't have internal prototype builds running on consoles. Just give it time, no one wants to play an unoptimized mess on a console, just as no one wants to play an unoptimized mess on a PC.

Yes to all, and the reasoning for the public/private naming, is because on public servers your characters stay persistent through different servers, where as private hives are just 1 character for that server, the character does not carry over to any other server. Hope this clears it all up! :)

Sorry, I didn't read it clearly enough. There are 2 main hives, public and private. the 1st and 1st/3rd person servers are like a hive within a hive, if that makes sense.

Yes, for each different hive you have a different character. However, if you join the same type of server (1st/3rd, 1st) and that server is a public hive, then your character will remain the same. Private hives only have the same character for that one server.

Good news, They do exist. Now, I've never done it, but I believe you downgrade through the steam version of the Dayz Mod, and you select the version in Properties, then Betas. I've seen some servers hosting older versions, just dig around in the server section. Best of luck!
