Hello, forum. I understand there is quite the stigma against "western" items, but, I firmly believe modern euro/American vehicles have a place here. We know that DayZ is set in a time after 1999, as signs in game have proved this. Seeing as this after the fall of the Soviet Union most of us believe that Chernarus was a part of, wouldn't that mean western vehicles have been trickling in from western markets? For example, brands like Opel, Vauxhall, Ford, Chevrolet, and many others do have a place here, look at countries similar to Chernarus, such as Ukraine or Czech Republic. There are more than just Ladas and GAZ's and VAZ's and so on. Of course, it is obvious that Chernarus is a poor country. If it becomes possible to enlarge the map and add in large urban areas, These vehicles should definitely become considered. I see your point, I merely used those brands as examples, but both Chevrolet and Ford have a significant European presence, though there are more common brands.We must also not discount Asian car brands as well.

The 4130 is a decent CPU, but it may struggle even with coming optimization. Start saving some money and consider upgrading in 6 months to a year.

No, my friend, you are terribly mistaken. if you're happy with your graphics card, fine. Not my problem. (It's probably whats causing the bug though) But, you must understand that you are also not using HALF of your avaliable RAM. You can also acquire 64 Bit Windows by perfectly *cough cough* "legal" means, and doing so will only improve your performance. You might want to try turning Object Detail up, as that has fixed texture glitches in the past. P.S: Insulting people's computer knowledge is not a way to get your issue solved ;)

Defragging the hard drive is an action you can select in your hard drive options to basically "organize" all of the files. It helps with making it run as fast as possible. That might have something to do with the Texture issues, but probably not the FPS drops. That R7 240 of yours is truly awful, for games like DayZ at least. You should seriously consider a new card with at least 1 GB of GDDR5 ram, that will severly improve your FPS troubles. Also, your OS is 32 bit, yet you have 8GB of ram. With a 32 bit OS you can only use up to 4GB, for the entire system. You should look into a 64 bit copy of Windows 7. Best of Luck

I too have noticed the recent downfall in Taviana servers myself. Do not despair, I am here to explain! You see, vanilla Taviana servers were forgone for other more popular mods such as Origins, which does use the Taviana map. Many of the servers were shut down because they simply wern't popular enough. It's sad, but if you're looking for a Taviana fix, look into Origins or even Overpochins. Hope this helps!

Signaling and Blankets would be great additions! I would love to wrap up in a blanket and sit by a fire to warm up quickly. However, the mosquitoes aspect seems just a tad to realistic for me, as it sounds very in depth, especially the infection mechanic. But they would definetley have a place in the swamps of Chernarus, just maybe not all across the map Perhaps they could be a seasonal addition, added in the summer and spring months (as mosquitoes in the winter would make no sense). All in all though, great ideas I would love to see in game!

Yes, that graph seems very abnormal. But, that 800w PSU doesn't raise any eyebrows from me, so i don't think that's an issue. But, im happy you're getting 40+ in the Towns and 70-100 in the Countryside! I still think you might have a little bit more to go, especially if you are only on medium settings. Keep fiddling with that Nvidia Control Panel. I'm glad you were able to get it working (somewhat) at least to a playable level.

Hmmm....... Once again, 25-30 is not even a quarter of what you should be getting FPS-wise. As for the core usage, yes that's about normal, and Hyperthreading on or off affects nothing, at least for me, and I also run an i7. Also, regarding that GPU spikes, might be related to your PSU. What is your wattage on it? Although im sure it is sufficient, as your system is quite power hungry, it might be a sign that it is failing.

Actually, after a Google search, others are having the same problem as you. They recommend to uninstall and reinstall your Nvidia drivers. Hope that Works.
