What if the game forced you into 1st person when you drew your weapon? That way you could still have 3rd person without giving an unfair advantage in firefights. Granted, you could still look over walls, round corners etc... but in the heat of a shootout no one would put their gun away just to see round a corner, that would just be suicidal!

City looks good but didn't encounter 1 zombie! Are they yet to put spawns in there?

Saw a couple of car crash setups in the new city up north with smashed glass and shit on the road, looks good. But yeah some more stuff like this would add to the atmosphere of the map.

Ye I've found the same. Had way more player interaction on them than regular. Still get some great shootouts but seems to be less itchy trigger fingers. Makes it a little less painful getting a sniped by a bush on a hill when I've had a couple of funny or interesting encounters beforehand.

So there I am looting Rify, had just found a Sporter with ammo and for some stupid reason I strolled back out onto the deck without checking it was clear. Next thing I know my screen flashes grey, I turn round and see an unarmed guy punching me in the face. Screen went black and i'm KO'd. "Thanks for that mate", I said. "Look just take my gun but please don't kill me". He replied "I'm sorry. I feel really bad now". I told him to keep the gun as IMO he had got it fair and square. Well, that and, you know, he was holding a gun. He then declined and gave it back! I offered him supplies but he declined again as he was leaving shortly. I thanked him for not murdering me and we parted ways. I didn't get the name but if you are reading this... you sir, are a gent! Thank you and many beans! :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans:

Publicity is publicity. Look at GTA, the airport murderspree scene in COD, the Islamic protests at the British Army homecoming parade. It may be bad press but it certainly brings it into the spotlight. But yeah, I think we can all agree that dead kids would be a surefire way of getting shut down.

Would certainly add another angle to the game. Imagine having to put down a kid that was coming at you with a fire axe... Also this would probably create a media shit storm. But hey, any press is good press! Blunce is right though, it would never happen.

Not everyone is like this. Granted, player interaction seems quite rare but around 25 hrs in and I've encountered both good and bad. Every community has it's children dude :rolleyes: just play the game how you want to play.

So far I've been murdered by snipers, an axe wielding maniac and, of course, a ladder :lol: I tend to frequent the hardcore servers and like to play friendly when possible. Loving the intense moments when running into other survivors! I don't KOS unless you give me a reason. Currently sat in the arse-end of nowhere with a broken arm...
