    Data Execution Prevention related crashes

I tried posting this in Troubleshooting but didn't hear anything for a few days so I thought I would try my luck with a more active crowd, maybe someone has had the same problem... So this is probably on my computer's end but maybe someone else has had the same problem and figured out a way around it. When I am playing, I will occasionally and seemingly randomly crash. After I crash to the desktop, a little windows info bubble pops up and tells me that the game was closed by "Data Execution Prevention" and that I can deal with it in settings to make it not attack a given program. The problem is that when I am looking around in the windows settings it seems like you can't "turn off" Data Execution Prevention and that the best thing you can do is make an exception for a program, and then when I try to make an exception for Steam it tells me that "that program has to run with Data Execution Prevention". There doesn't seem to be much of a pattern to it, sometimes it lasts a long time between crashes, sometimes it crashes after just a minute or two, sometimes it crashes while I am running on steps while talking to people on the mic, sometimes it crashes while I am alone in a barn or in the woods. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know how to deal with it? Thanks in advance.
