    That's called being a mindless deathmatcher. And the game was so much more interesting and intense before those guys came around.

    While i agree zombies should be feared, I completely disagree with your suggestion. Zombies should not be tougher IMO, quite the contrary, they should go down easier but they should also be more lethal, they should: 1. Have the ability to strike while running and not have to stop before they do like it's currently the case. 2. Kill in one or two hits. Make the first hit like a 50% chance to die, and even if you don't die from it, this hit should infect you, your character should get sick, until the point he dies and resurrect as a zombie while the AI takes over and you have to restart the game. But to balance it out, they should still go down easier. It's a bit of a joke that we have to dance around them striking them a hundred times with a wrench before they die.
  3. So, I can tell you guys went with google translation for the french version, it's horrible and often doesn't even make any sense. Is there any way I can put it in english? There's no such option when I right-click the game in my steam library. EDIT: Nevermind, it's in the options. You shouldn't translate your game at all if you're going to use such horrible translations, though.

    I like the idea. What they should do is: - 1 scracth/bite and you're infected. But on the other hand balance it by: -Reducing zombies' speed -Reducing resistance. -And get rid of their bionic eyes and make the detection system mostly motion based.

    I'm guessing you don't like the suggestion because it would require you to grow some balls instead of just shooting people who could have shot you first but didn't because they were decent people. Don't bother, I have nothing else to say to you or anyone like you, quit wasting my time. Ok, let's just let the game in the state it is now and let it slowly die. Which is gonna happen, the intial interest of the game is gone since now we all have to shoot on sight and it's anything but interesting. When I first heard of the game I was told there were bandits and survivors, that's what drawn me to it. Now? Nope, there are only bandits, everyone shoots everyone because there are no other choice, it's another virus spread, the deathmatch virus, people shot grew tired and started to shoot on sight themselves. Makes no sense to me, people go on and on about IRL, but let's be serious, when you've been shot, you're dead IRL, you don't come back and decide now I'm shooting on sight too.
  6. -Make people choose between Bandits and Survivors when they start a game, and give them different skins. -Bandits would be authorized to kill anyone they want but be themselves fair game for anyone. -Survivors would get a penalty if they killed someone who wasn't a Bandit, like the kind of shaking you get when you need painkillers, except nothing could cure it. I know all about how you tried to make it like The Walking Dead in the bar when Rick guessed the guys were bad, but that doesn't work in a game, it can't. What you see in the game are not real people, they're just 3d models. There's nothing you can read either in their face or in their eyes, or even their movements. And also when they decide to shoot you their weapon are already drawn and pointing at you, you can't count on your advantage if you're quicker than them because both characters have the same abilities.

    What expense? All it would take would be be to ask I44's devs if we could use their animation. Maybe I'm wrong though but that doesn't seem any harder to me.

Not so much when it lies in stupid stuff like "I broke my leg because I closed the door behind me" or in this instance "I have to stand perfectly still and be 1mm close to a fence to vault it"

    About the bear traps, I hope there will be a way to disable it. The unvaultable barbwires are BS enough to begin with.
  13. @Orbital, It's not some generic shooter, I don't think it should be about what the "majority" wants (or as Georges Costanza would call them: "bonehead mass audience"). The game was never supposed to be a big deathmatch feat zombies. I say make the zeds 50% slower but 500% stronger, because anyway in those situations, you've seen it in every movies, when you're bitten/scracthes, you're finished.
