    forget all that i say you can only disconnect near your tent or else there is a cool down period to reenter a different server..like 5 mins or something. having a wait time leave before logging leaves player to vulnerable if they try to flee.. so i say only log out in proximity to your tent or there is a 10 second run off where the player is vulnerable. problem solved .. / end thread

    I think all you whiners need to grow up and just go play on a different server. You all sound pathetic. So what, You got banned on game that's in an ALPHA state of completion... its pathetic.. clearly the server admin invited you to go talk to him.. and you wont even do that. GO play on another server there are dozen of Atlanta servers.. better yet go spend your own money, Rent your own server ,so you can QQ there. Ive played on much worse server then Atlanta 24. And i hardly play there as it is. Stop Treating your situation like its a pay 2 play MMO and you just got banned and demand restitution.. its NOT! its a free MOD with no "OFFICIAL" SUPPORT As in ALPHA. The servers you play on good or bad are paid for out of pocket... Go play on another server and report bugs and anomalies and have fun doing it.

    most of these guys on here are whinny little bitches.. YOU CANT CHANGE THE SERVER TIME ..YOU CANT MAKE IT DARK.. or MORNING or NIGHT or even lunch time.lol GET IT Through your HEAD. Servers slow down, and need to be restarted alot.. some server restart every 3 hours even. and when you restart them it syncs to the location time of where the server is.. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE THE TIME.. There is not even an option for it... Plus there is nothing wrong with anyone resetting a server that they pay for when they want ...

    Pending Update: Build 1.7.2

    Awesome update Rocket! So after not wanting to upgrade from 1.7.0 I figured we would do it...everything is Awesome...just Awesome.. But Zombies are way to fucking strong. I got hit once, -2000 blood loss , Knocked the fuck out, with broken legs and a concussion... Even Anderson Silva or 23 old Mike Tyson couldn't hit that hard.. its ridiculous.. zombies are weaker then humans by far please tone it down.. its unrealistic.

    Rocket, Rocket your doing good work man. we all love what you have done and how you basically saved the survival horror Genre with this mod. words cant describe man.. keep it up.. we chose to keep 1.7 after testing 1.7.1 on our server. just for reason of the bugs ..not the added content.. we need a little more challenge.. the new patch although harder felt like the zombies were somehow cheating and the immersion was broken.. we actually have a short film director in our group who loves the mod and critiqued its atmosphere before and after. it was too easy to aggro .. So i think the trick/challenge is how do you make it more challenging "without" breaking the lore of what the living dead should be? keep the challenge and uncertainty but not give things for free ... WELL i think some of us may have figured out a way with the help of my friend.. why not make SOME zombies not all... specific marked zombies be like a heightened alert zombie.?? or ones that have better site then others instead of all.. So when you come to a clearing you can tactically asses the situation from a far.. like a paranoid zombie with red eyes or something.. that spawns randomly .. maybe you run into one, maybe you dont, but if you do spot 1 get ready for major stealth and planning or a huge battle..he could spawn in a group of regular 1.7 type zombies and he can and will see you if you mess up... and if he does the rest will become hostile if aggrod ..unless of course you can head shot him quietly? thats key!Smile that's the lore we want and the tactical planning we need to take him out of the equation .. 1 thing hopefully you dont miss.. lol or maybe you do and he cant spot you with a sniper rifle and silenced rounds .. .I think this may work and give eveyone what they are looking for.. cheers Rocket hope this helps.. long live Arma and DayZ!     i like the direction of the patch but the values are too extreme .. it breaks the atmosphere of what was intended.. zombies cannot see from great distances.. we shouldn't have to treat zombies like a sniper .. well not too much but hiding yes .. thats bad ass and scary. but not to this degree.. plus there are alot of bugs... we updated our servers and every player got nuked killed ,had crazy spawns.. people shot weapons and it duped ammo lol.. good direction just a littleto high on value wise plus zombies are way to fucking strong.. no zombie can kick a mans ass 1 on 1 ..a group yes.. thats what makes them dangerous in groups plus should not respawn fast at all.. players should have the right to clear an area without getting spawn killed if they spend the ammo.

    as a server admin i can confirm alot of broken mechanics .. needs to be tweaked.. roll back.. and if just because you have the luxury of playing in a pre made group like my clan does makes it easier for you not the new players.. so if your clan leaves they are the pussies. the patch is broken ..

    zombies should not have good vision .. in my opinion the zombies where next to perfect in 1.7 with the aggro range ..adding line of site would be great.. but they just see way to well now.. according to this man right here: which is the only thing that matter and connot be disputed or shouldnt be ever! http://i.ytimg.com/vi/cNyv76DvM3M/0.jpg the zombies Rocket instilled in 1.7 where almost spot on to the Romeros zombies.. if he can fix zombie re spawns ridiculously site ..go back to older zombies with just LOS and deaggro would be great.. plus all the bugs.. better yet keep the zombies exactly like 1.7 and just add more with way less respawn time so we can actually clear an area.

    this update is broken .. we took our server down because we didnt want people losing everything, and listen to people pissed off .. the concept and changes were ok they just didnt work. spawning in strange areas, massive zombie hordes and respawns, for some reason the debug monitor is gone,, cant see yourself in 3rd person, its a mess... we are trying to figure out a way to reroll to 1.7.. there is just way to many bugs and glitches not only gameplay but coding.

    this post about the zombie ..at least 25 people every 5 mins on our server going to go back to 1.7 till zombie behavior is fixed and various bugs i think. game = unplayable to player base /lots of complaining. ADMIN= Headache

    people are spawning in the middle of nowhere ...someone on our server just told me that he fired a makarov from on top of the big hill almost 100m away and he had a horde of really pissed off zeds..

    Rocket, SERVER ADMIN HERE.. Thank you for a incredible update, everyone in the gaming community truly appreciates what you have done for us with this game/ mod . here are some reports from the field and players on our server.. The zeds behavior is bad ..it was so much better in 1.7.. stealthing into get loot was awesome ,Realistic, and frightening .. now the zeds behavior is much less realistic.. the went from creepy mindless machines( how they should be ) to hyper sensitive , paranoid, eagle eyed ,track stars with 40 yard dash times faster then Adrian Peterson. now you are forced to kill zombies that aggro more zombies and that just respawn.. making the risk /vs reward not worth it at all. The 5 sec logout also crashes some players pcs i think because they never crashed exiting the game before... it would have been better to just make a wait period to log back into play... that's actually more of a punishment having to wait if someone force logs. More then likely they will die from being a bad player anyway. I think we have to eat and drink Waaay to often.. You could tone it down. Eating should be toned down quit a bit and water just a little. you can live 3 weeks without food in real life but 3 days without water can be fatal. Please consider fixing the zombie behavior it was honestly better before and fit within the lore and atmospherically worked. the players are complaining they don't even want to log in till the next patch or hotfix. so we will probably end up going back to 1.7 to keep the player base.. everything Else seems to work awesome ..cant wait to try the tents ! just heads up thank you.
