i agree ive been killed so many times while looting because i don't hear the door! Its very frustrating when you've been looting for two hours!!

I noticed that my dayz named my character name to my computer name however when you load dayz up and your at the main menu, you have play game, choose server, options ect. if you double click on your name in the bottom right corner of the screan where your name appears you should be able to change the name to whatever you like, i accidentally stumbled across it, but i think its something a few people should know,it worked for me atleast, so give it a shot:D

i had a similar problem where i got the 'receiving' message, my friend had just been killed by a guy, i killed the guy who killed my friend, tried to pick up all the medical supplies ammo ect... from my dead friend, and i couldn't use them or equipped them, i thought maybe my friends body glitched out so i tried on the guy i just killed, same problem, i think its bug within the game, not to do with your connection, however this is a problem that needs to be looked into, my friend had alot of ammo we needed and lost,
