A friend of mine started to play 1.8.2 and because the testing kit does not work, the only way to get you blood group is to take whole blood (I am sure the devs know about this), however, the following problem happened. female gender "Insuficient Blood from donor" when trying to fill empty blodbag. Heatlh = 12000 / Hungry = 0 / Thirst = 0. Four attempts made with different tranfusion kits and different empty bags. Using the same bags and transfusion kits on male gender no problem. tried logging out and back into server = no change Also another thing that I noticed: on occasions when eating the indicator shows 3/4 full, and does not show 100%, then look at hunger it displays 0. (but not al the time) The biggest problem is walking three paces and it is though my character has emphysemia. The crosshairs is all over the place, character is panting like a dog on heat, and takes about 20-30secs to recover from three paces. (I have do this with no inventory i.e. nothing exceot an axe/banage & torch.)

Hi I was hoping someone could help or point me in the right direction. I was reading the following post on the steam updates for dayz/arma2oa http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/198513-arma2-oa-beta-patch-system-update-admins-clients-please-read/ I followed the instructions to create a fresh install using the steamCMD I have no idea what I should do next. Do I do it the same way as before and copy all my game files from the steam game folders, then merge the new file into them? Is there and "Idiots" step by step guide to installing a clean dayzmod 1.8.1 server correctly through steamCMD?

I have now got the server and the .pbo Do I extract these over the install? Where do you place the .pbo?

The first attempt broke the one server I had resulting me to start fresh. I have followed the post as instructed to install the steam updated server files. This has completed but no DayZmod files are included. Which DayZ files do I get(is there a link)? How do I setup a database for a private hive using navicat instead of hivemind?

Hi, there I would like to make the suggestions of crafting Rabbit traps and small bivvys. I have been trying to hunt down rabbits now for a while, the main problem is you can't get close enough to kill there with your axe, the crossbow is too inacurate, and forget about the guns (unless you have an sd). So a common way of catching these little blighters is to set rabbit traps, this could be done by using wood pile and string, with a % chance of snaring them over say thirty mins. once only usage. Also the bivvy. I have noticed when out in the wilds (forests,woods) sometimes my temperature drops like a rock when it is raing heavy (I dont know whether windchill takes effect). Anyway, one idea would be to craft a small, one use bivvy, using 3 wood pile, one clothing (or introduce the making of tarps, conifer branches). this would give shelter from the wind and rain, also, prevent you from getting colder, but not actually increase your temperature (this would be done by using fire or heat pack. If your stuck without matches or heat pack then you have an improved chance of survival) I don't know whether these have been suggested previously, but I think it would add to the survival aspect of the game.

The Mod

maybe this could be done through the loot spawn system, or maybe the similar to fishing. Lay your trap randomly spawn a rabbit in a trap chance of success in a %, anywhere between 5mins and 30mins trap disapears with the gutted rabbit. if the rabbit corpse is not accessed within a specified time of spawn, then it despawns rabbit and trap. As a said just thoughts while playing and spending too much time chasing the little "creatures".

I have just made screenshots so you can see that the splints are there, when I right click to apply, nothing happens.. Sorry if I was not clear. Sorry i just notice i only have one bandage now.

I have crafted the splints, the book says 6 wood pile and not sticks, i have two splints made in my inventory, i have three bandages in my inventory, and still I cannot apply
