funny thing is about 70% of the player base knows how to do duping in one form or another. There like what? 6 ways? of duping? also I am all for duping as long as there's enough hackers to kill everyone instantly every hour. High end gear isn't generated as much by heli crashes as it is by duping. it's more like 3% heli crashes 2%barracks, 95% duped to hell. Get over it, it's not the heli crashes that ruined the game.

I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT LOUDLY THAT THERE"S BEEN A HIGH INCREASE OF SERVERS IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS, AND MOST PREFER THE QUIETER LESS LIKELY TO BE HACKED OR SNIPED SERVERS WITH LESS POPULATION. SO BASICALLY WE ARE MORE SPREAD THAN SAY 2 MONTHS AGO. of course the user count is the players that played at least once. school is starting, etc. we'll see an increase later on this year.

I have 14k~+ humanity, I haven't actually killed in weeks, and so far on 2 occasions ghillie suit allowed me to be unseen and avoid any contact that wasn't needed. Depends a lot on how you play, if you run down through elektro/cerno, ghillie will loose it's efficiency so mite as well stay hero skin for that 1% chance that you won't be killed on the spot. Me, being a hermit by nature, just move around stealthy and if I need to talk to someone I just do it over direct chat. If that doesn't prove you're friendly idk what since you basically have the drop on him. SO TL/DR depends on how you play. if you run around for anyone to see I guess you mite as well go hero, if not/change your play style use the ghillie. BY THE WAY, take off your backpack first, you're welcome ;)

As a camp and vehicle hunter (mostly heli hunter) I can safely say if someone starts searching, there is no safe hiding spot. there just isn't. I have never gotten sick from swimming to the islands and back, both daytime and night, tho never hurts to have antibiotics with you and a pile of wood with matches. I'm more and more inclined to make your vehicle inaccessible on foot or require repair/fuel so to make it more of a chore for other ppl to the point of not being worth stealing. Tents. Underwater or between 3 closely grouped evergreen trees. *xmas trees*

a buddy found an old pick up truck, we fixed it up and went N-E. 10 tent cities (of over 10 each), with enough coyote backpacks to equip a 100person server and various weapons of which the most valuable, the camo one, forgot it's name.

I found 3 (I kid you not) 3 in the same day on the same server, didn't have space, just drank them all. lived for 30+ days, got all the tools I ever wanted.

WHENEVER you get stuck in loading screen, alt tab to dayz commander join any other server, get to lobby, start loading the game, wile it's loading, alt tab to desktop and close the first arma (dayz) window that has the stuck on loading screen bug. alt tab back to 2nd arma2/dayz window (only arma2/dayz window by now), fully load to your location without loosing your stuff. ... profit.

Just like to add in 2.6 helis save properly and the vehicle hoarding has begun, so it's not just server hop till you find one anymore on 2.6 servers. Right now I'm planning on griefing a whole server for admin abuse. There's your occupation.

This video was originally made for reporting DE 2366 admin abuse but since it's been like idk maybe 10 hours since I reported and it wasn't posted I'ma just drop this here. Basically me and a friend repaired a heli on DE 2366, all but 3~4 (forgot at the time) windshields, I went to get some he stayed, he then logged from the server and from the teamspeak. odd. then the server started going weird, like sending me to my map, then lobby then back. I just quit the server and joined back later. Started swimming for the island, got to it, started climbing back to the spawn point, and the video tells p. accurately what followed and what my thoughts were. Cheers DE 2366 admin and GoC clan, you pussies XD from 6:30 to end it's just proof of me constantly trying to get back in the game and getting kicked wile they got their chopper back. So yeah anyone who finds a chopper on that server, mash it into the ground then save the wreckage ;) I know I will. :D Let's see how well you can hide it JacK and GoC team ^_^

well with private hives you literally can do whatever you want, this was part of the hive, sad part is my case is quite common. Ever since 2.6 and helis that save properly, all the faggoty of vehicle hoarding started again, that includes keeping players kicked till they secure whatever they want. Once I have free time I'ma go fuck up their chopper/vehicle collection center. <3 satchel charges. Then I am going to save EVERY LAST WRECKAGE. ENJOY RE-FINDING AND FIXING EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM.

No. Keep it in the game, it is part of the game and real world. They should work like tents and cars, if not interacted with in 6 days (as in save) it should be removed, or be FOREVER deleted when a player removes it, not be back when server restarts. these are the ONLY reasons why barbed wire is so frowned upon, it just keeps coming back
