I want to play OA with out playing dayz but it wont let me

make sure your combine ops desktop icon doesn't have any dayz parameters in the target line, if it does take them out as they are no longer used anyway. and that will allow you to play OA again. -

it is supposed to. If you mean it isn't, lets start with how it works, it only logs when people run scripts detected by it which is what the number in front of each line means 1= log 5= kick.. I know myself that the game is dieing (from my stand point)as it's the same old thing over and over and I have alot of community members who just don't play anymore because they say it's just getting boring, and with the PlanetSide 2 beta out and some others alot of people have been moving on to new things.

The problem here isn't battleye or the mod it's the engine it's running on, when you make a mod on a crappy engine like this that supports scripting then, you get people running scripts on it. The only thing you really can do is spend so many hours everyday going through log files and see what find. Bronx be careful on banning for those small and big ammo boxes as they might be the ammo crates that spawn at heli crashes(the 7.62 and 5.52 ammo crates), there is a write up about it on the battleye forums.

I agree that some server admins are childish(to put it politely), but the server admins are the owners they pay for you to have a place to play, As a server owner myself i can tell you that our control over our own servers is, just the ability to kick, ban, start and stop the server. Some may abuse this power but like i said they pay for you to have a place to play so just find a server where the admins aren't dicks. I myself feel that we do not have enough power over our own servers and we are bound to the rules of kicking and banning set by Dayz, now if someone is abusing those powers record/screenshot and report these server owners and hopefully someone will get off there ass and make a effort to punish the server owners for breaking the rules set by Dayz. If you are honestly concerned about the server owner banning you than you need to put a post in the server reporting area, but make sure you follow the reporting format so the dayz team will not just push it aside. -

We had a hacker crash chopper near our camp and after server restart it turned into a PBX Boat. and stayed that way until we blew up the PBX and then saved it, now it hasn't been back since. -

from what i seen, this happens when someone gets teleported, as we had a hacker on our server and he tried to teleport everyone and we all got kicked for script restriction #60 there was about 20 of us on the server at the time but i couldn't find out who did it. -

Alot of you may have missed it, but at the start of the video the fellow recording it is bleeding out but not losing blood, (you can notice this as he moves towards the stairs), Now i only ever seen this on someone using god mode. I did find the video funny, but i didn't see any admin abuse. -

Just login to rcon in game by typing this #login "password" (without the quotes), and then you can use in game global chat to send messages until Battleye gets their shit together. -
Ok try this with a friend fire 1 shot from a makarov into a friends head from about 50 meters and than tell me if he instantly dies, than come back here and replay correctly. As for his claim about the second kill he used the makarov not the m4 i know the sound of each gun. I will unban you for now but you will be watched extremely carefully and if i get 1 more complaint or if i see this crap again you stay banned forever, I don't care if god himself says i'm wrong for doing so. Your right i never hacked in a game and i never will, see i this thing called skill which makes it so i don't have to hack, I have hosted servers for numerous games and i have seen all kinds of hacks and after 12 yrs, of hosting my own servers and playing in competition in mostly all of them, i know when someone is using a aimbot/wallhack, cham, etc.

As the server owner of US 241, i can say the ban was valid as you 1 shotted a member of my community (Dave) with a makarov(which is impossible as i had just given him a blood transfusion not but 5 mins, before this), and then you shot another person (not a member of my community) with 3 shots from a makarov and killed them but what got you banned was the instant 180 Degree snap you did on the second person, as I was on top of the fire station roof watching this go down and i was the one throwing the flares not Dave as he was wearing NVG's, and i wasn't. In fact i told him i seen you come out of the market and start crawling towards the direction of the church. Now i have shot alot of people with a Makarov and not 1 of them died from a full clip(8 shots) but you my friend can apparently do it in 1 -3 shots. hmmm, i find that fishy and coupled with the fact that you snapped the 180 on the poor guy running up there i would say yes you are a cheater and with the amount of hackers i've seen on servers lately, no one gets a free pass, My community has a ZERO tolerance rule on hacking and If i see a hacker or get proof of one then they are banned from my server and they stay banned forever... My best advice to you is go hack on another server as you are no longer welcome on mine.

I recently updated my server today beta version 95208 and i noticed in my remote Rcon that everyone who joined was getting battleye connection failed or something like that, anyway WE have been having large fps drops on both the server and the client side, but when i started the server with this new beta we were all excited because the game never ran so well and i mean people who had v sync off and were only getting 30 fps were now getting 70+ and it looked amazing in game right up until the point were battleye kicked in and the second we saw the message "Battleye requires version (whatever)" and then the next line says you are up to date and your guid the server went down hill the fps instantly dropped the people who were getting 70 were back to 30 and that would only last about 4 hrs and than we had to restart the server because it dropped to 10 fps. I had six people in my vent playing and 3 others came in and asked what happened because the fps and game play was amazing right until battleye kicked in. This beta version did update the game version to 1.6.2. Honestly, i have been playing since may and i have never seen the game play and fps so good before, than battleye took it away. I know we need battleye but i know with punkbuster if it would cause lag you could just tune it down some be it setting the walk lower or less screenshots. I was wondering if there was anything we could do to battleye to tune it down some as it is the culprit to the fps lags and fps drops must of us have seen since the release of 1.7.2.

No idea, but by the way the new patches are making the game more unreliable with each one, I would have to say since they obviously don't do much work during the week days i hardly think the work on the weekends.

You need to ask the server provider for the server info so you can fill out the submission form, than once approved Dayz will whitelist the ip and give you the correct mission file for your server.

Server admins resetting vehicles?

I know personally on my server with the recent update that using my battleye rcon to send a restart message to the server was not working.(i have since fixed it with a battleye update) Also choppers are not in the game as of yet so if you did have one than it was hacked in. -
It's been my experience that if you cheat in 1 game you will cheat in another, and the fact that battleye kicked you means you had the cheat engine running when you tried to join the server, as it would not detect it if it wasn't running. Since he pays for the server and you do not than the option to ban you should be up to the server owner/admin.

Gamehack #38 is a battleye ban for either using a hack or battleye noticed a programs like winject, game chest etc. running on your system. Basically stop cheating at games and then this won't happen.

there are several ways to do this, the 2 main one's i use is login to admin in game by typing this in game #login "password" (without quotes) then use global chat to announce your restart or get Battleye remote rcon and use that to say your message in.
