I am in and subbed to this thread to keep an eye on it. I will fill whatever role you need, but I would willingly be a medic, sent with the convoy to fix any wounds, or to head out and help a player stuck with broken legs. I don't know about cherno, but I'd be willing to try it. I think maybe a blank spot on the coast by cherno may be a better idea. Then you can have snipers overwatching the whole encampment, easily cut the territory off from vehicles, and you'd be free of the zed problem. Killing them over and over and over is going to drain ammo, especially with five people taking four shots at one zed.... I think that will be the biggest problems with zeds in cities, too many ppl will either shoot the same zed, wasting ammo, or no one will and assume someone else will.

I haven't used sixupdater since I used to play with my clan last year. DayZ does not require six to work. You just have to know how to manually mod the game. All six is, is a mod installer/launcher/crappy server finder. Learn how to do it all yourself and save yourself the horrible horrible six start ups and long ass downloads lmao. (btw when manually downloading DayZ updates, it's quicker to grab the new torrent (200mb) than it is to grab the 26 mb file that was updated. Go into the torrent and rip what you need lol)

I've had no problms taking out the wire on the metal poles, no entrenching tool needed :P P.s. I'll risk that bullet in the back of the head on a week old char if it means clearing the wire out of a really annoying spot.

This game DID come out in '09. And atm, the grass IS pointless. It prevents me from seeing you, but not you from seeing me. Hence why in most servers that allow it (non-dayz servers) I turn it off. Just like in oblivion. But at least the grass goes a bit farther in arma2 than oblivion.

Stupid move of the day So, Me and my cousin find a bus. "Hey lets cruise down to Elektro" Cut to Elektro, fly thru, honking like mad. Make it to the outskirts, see a dude, running, getting chased. I... well, I honked, tried to get the zeds to aggro us... I looked back to see the dude, as well as the zeds staring at awe at our awesome bus. *BAM* Concrete barrier pops bus's tire off.... When we finally got a tire, the bus was gone :(

Sneak until accidental aggro, then ditch the zeds in a building, creep out the other side like nothing even happened. Most times I'll be quick and check the loot of the building to see if it's worth coming back to when the zeds leave.

There is only one way to play this game. Survive. How you do it is up to you. Outside of hacks and glitches that is. If you want to kos everyone, that's on you. If you want to team up with ppl, that's up to you. If one of those people decide. "Hey, I think I'm going to kill everyone" That is just part of the game. As long as he survives, he's doing it right lol. My goal is to play on a rooster teeth server, find a group of players, hope and pray that a Rooster Teeth employee is with them and kill that RT employee, and only that person lol. I play with the thought that even if you are unarmed, you could find a hatchet in five minutes, and come kill me. So you are dead. Sorry, but that's the way she goes. In real life if someone was in a building you cleared and they killed you, that means they were hidden in some compartment you didn't see. That is the basic equivalent of hopper's. They hid in a cubby you forgot to check and shot you when they got out of the cubby (aka spawned in.) Once I learned to see it this way I stopped caring. Besides. I'm going to die anyway.

I'll tell you how. Get in contact with battle eye. They know how to do it. Then when you get your ban, go find a botnet or loic or something and go join the "hackers" that are making the game unplayable for everyone.
