Great idea, maybe something to add when everything else is done and the game is stable. We atleast have wind affecting the world already, like when it's windy it's harder to ignite the campfire. I didn't expect that at all, when me and a friend tried to cook some meat up on a mountain but could not get the fire going. We had too relocate to a less windy position and also make the fire under a tree to avoid rain, awsome.

Yeah, maybe removing text alltogether is a bit harsh, and I totally understand your point. So I would like to see some sounds made when people text instead, that would keep everyone happy. Just take away the option for the sneaky bastard laying in the bush texting "i see you,muhahaha" and start verbal abuse without me knowing where he is. If he made sounds while texting he might reconsider harrasing me in a unrealistic way, because it could get him killed....

But it would make more text users talk, because when their not able to type, THEY do wanna communicate, so it would force em to talk. Not everyone will though, their loss, they probably doesn't talk in real life either because of social angsiaty. That would also make it realistic ingame because you meet a guy, he doesnt speak, you can either leave him or put him out of he's misery,,,a deaf guy would'nt hear a zombie closing in on him so he might be better of dead because he' wouldn't survive the apocalypse for to long,,,haha But if removing text isn't an option, atleast, make texting noisy in some way because right now the texter gets the advantage of not revealing he's position...and I refuse to text because I want more realism and immersion..This is the main reason I want to see texting removed, or made so I can reveal where they are texting from...

We have this almost unique feature in Arma engines with the direct chat system, so I would like to see it used alot more. Teamspeak pussyes, start chatting ingame you don't know what youre missing, it's alot scarier when your voice could get you killed and your team has to be chareful in areas where there probably is a high risk of meeting other players, 100% more realistic. Also it would be fun for others that can sneak up and eavesdrop on conversations. Had only a few encounters where teamed up players talked in direct, I sneak up on them in the dark and listened for 5 minutes on their conversation, decided not to kill and rob them just because I liked what they did:p and if everyone did the same it would bring more "life" and realism to Dayz...

Yes please, 1 person only, it would make hardcore servers more populated. Right know it's hard to find 1 person servers that are populated, especially night servers(why is everyone scared of the night?) As for the mic, I don't thrust people that don't talk to me when I meet them, a voice often(not always) tells wether that person is thrustworty, so anyone I encounter that don't answer me when Im talking, I kill, and tell them if they just picked up their mic we could have had a totally different situation.(maybe they learn and buy a microphone for the next session.)

I server hop alot, but not to get loot but I play at different hours of day. I have to switch servers alot to find servers with more players, hate to play on empty servers. Since I play in hardcore mode and like to play at night good servers with more players is hard to find....so not everyones doing it for the loot.. Private hives isnt gonna help on the issue either because it doesn prevent people playing on it, to jump on when the server isnt that full, just to loot up to a KOS fest later on. We just have to live with that some people play fair and others not.

Please fucking fix these Jesse Owens clone zombies!!! I cant outrun them, need atleast 10 hits with meles to kill them, wtf. Its fucking ridiciolus. Only ting I can use to take them down is with a gun, and that would trigger all thes KOS fuckers hiding in the woods to be aware of me.... Everytime I come back to this game this shit happens and I get reminded why I stopped playing.... More and more Im starting to think I'll maybe wait for H1Z1 instead to enjoy a zombie apocalypse/survival expirience,,,And yeah, I know this is alpha and alll, but since this issue was the same in the MOD shouldn't the devs have learned by then??? Let the fanboy flaming begin!!! My fire extinguiser is ready!!

Never played COD, playing ARMA3 mostly, also Arma2 Takistan Life and played Dayz until today, now Im just sick and tired of these insane bladerunners that catch up on me and hit me while running no matter how fast i run.....or taking 10+ hits before they die, when in real life they would be chopped up pieces already after 3 or 4 hits with an axe. Zig-zagging doesn't work for me... makes them even catch up faster

Well, most of the time Im able to do that, but when there is 2 i struggle. So please tell me how to outrun them.... Also it doesn't explain how they can destroy rags, fucking rags, how can rags be destroyed???Really

I have tried your tactic, sorry doesnt fucking work for me... And tell me, how is it even possible to destroy rags by hitting them??? really realistic, If I had rags left I would have survived, but no the zombie magicly destroyed them so I bleed to death after i killed the basterd,,,,bullshit

Only reason I registered is because today it just boiled over with these fucking stupid zombie behaviour, Im not here to make friends or discussing pointless shit, Im here to put out my frustrations with Dayz that I've had since day1 when I started playing the MOD. Yeah, just what I tought, the fanboys couldn't resist. I survived plenty of times, had cars shitloads of gear and stuff in the MOD playing with my clan so dont' tell me that I cant fucking survive but nonetheless they are fucking annoying. I know howto fucking avoid the stupid zombies behaviour(dont encounter them unless I have a gun), but when they can outrun me and when I cant use the mele weaopon to kill them because they can take countless hits and eventually I get hit and my rags gets screwed and Im fucked it's just fucking stupid. But hell yeah, maybe your right, this game isnt for me anymore, been putting up with this shit far to long.... About the KOS'ers, I don't fucking mind them as long as I can mele a fucking zombie with a more realistic approach, and yeah Im a drama queen. And I don't mind that zombies can run a little, but right know they are world champion atlethics that could have participated in the olympics. Quite impressive for being dead rotten brainless flesh... And I don't know how H1Z1 is going to turn out, and neither does any of you, but it sure got my attention...
