how has the dry wells affected your gameplay

As I tend to play in the same regions most the time, I know where all the wells where on my trip and I would use them frequently enough that I never even bothered to carry and canteen/water bottle or any drinks. Now I carry 2 canteens and I have learned where the ponds/streams are in the same area and for the most part nothing really changed. It would be nice if filling a canteen with rain water didn't require so much micro management. It really should work just like filling up from a well (if fixed obviously) or ponds. That and can we finally fix the "drink all" option.. -
I would accept it, if it was accompanied by actually working persistence and item respawn. Otherwise no, not everyone filled themselves these loot orgies and there is no reason to punish everyone because they didn't fix a bug that was reported several times on the EXP forums during .50 testing.

I just wish they would make up their minds already. Wearing the same gear I had in .49 would kill me from over heating. I know, it's "alpha" but this system really needs to be worked up.

I found an AK74U for a friend the other day and since then we have spent several hours searching and have not seen a single mag for it.

Do you think that during an apocalypse everyone would be sitting around a fire holding hangs and singing coombia my lord? People are killing one another every day in real life and it has been proven that when people get desperate they will reach to even lower levels to ensure their survival. So saying that someone killing you for your belongs or just because they see you as a threat to either themselves or competition for resources isn't much of a stretch. Sure it may ruin what you consider a survival game but for them the true threat has never been the elements or even zeds but the human element. Now I am not a KOS type of guy. I play very aggressive but I will give unarmed players a helping hand, I will even offer to help someone who is willing to put their gun away or doesn't have one out. Yet if I think for even a second that you might be trying to lead me into a trap or you are just buying your time, I will drop you without giving it a second thought. Sorry but I am more interested in my survival than yours. Either way, the game would be much less fun without the violent human aspect. If it was just purely a survival game I would rather play some thing like the Long Dark.

It would be hard to have more crashes. All but one 3pp exp servers were down yesterday when I tried playing and even that one struggled to stay up.

This! We don't need a fiery ball of death to destroy a vehicle, taking out it's engine or other critical components would result in the same thing. It's not like we have access to full functional garages and an endless supply of parts. -
Yeah, I would total expect a barracks full of guns in a real world apocalypse. I mean who the hell would want a gun while the world is going to hell. And then you have the undead, they are always screwing up our real world apocalypses.... We all know that the current loot respawn system is broken and these loot piles could actually be what is causing the issue with certain regions being barren. I just hope this is something they can get ironed out quickly.

Not really, they will just use that back pack full of guns and ammo to kill people who's back packs are filled with just food because they couldn't find a gun :) The game needed to be made more difficult but .50 took it a step too far. Well honestly we really can't tell because loot respawn is, well saying it is broken would actually be an insult to "broken" features...

Yeah, we all know that there are some areas where loot seems to stock pile up and then there are entire regions with almost nothing at all. This is the main reason I am glad persistence is not enforced on stable servers. Loot respawn is clearly not working correctly and even the persistent part is hit or miss. Hopefully these are issues they can address soon because I can tell you unless you hit one of those loot piles, things can get rough out there.

And really unstable. SE 0-5 was crashing every five minutes for about 3 hours this afternoon. Looking over the list it appears most are down and out right now. Perhaps it was a good thing this patch was not pushed to stable after all.

We all understand that the exp servers are more fluid than the standard ones but with the recent rash of bugs being released in builds they probably should have every second of testing they can get upon the builds before they push them out. Especially this build, seeing it apparently brings down servers for days at a time... Good to see them back up, hopefully now they can start figuring out what is causing the server issue quickly.

They are insanely rare when compared to the AKM mags. Hell in the last couple of days I have replaced the 5 AKM mags I was carrying with 2 drums. I have yet to see a 101 mag. Sucks because I want to switch to a 101 I have stashed but I just can not find mags (loads of 5.56 ammo).

God yes, right now the bloody thing is nearly worthless as it stands. It would also be really nice if you could see the server information from in game as well. -
Well I hope they are getting a lot of internal data on this build because they sure the hell aren't going to be getting much for their experimental servers at this rate...

Yeah, if you want PvP you should be hitting up the major cities but just expect to encounter hackers. I was watching a twitch stream the other night of some PvP in Electro and they encountered a hacker who could force them to "shoulder" their weapons if inside a certain range. Plus he had the ESP hack as he was telling them were his team mate was at, without having to look for him.

Well technically neither does the "spinal" damage either, because it depends upon you actually being hit in a certain way. Which could be completely avoidable by staying away from zeds or other players to deal with. As I said, unless you are living the life of a hermit we already have enough ways to die without this one.

Talk about a horrible excuse of a broken game mechanic? Anyone actively playing this game and not living as a complete hermit off in some distant corner of the map on a single digit population server understands that their demise could be around the very next corner. If not from the a bug, the environment, a zed then you have to contend with your fellow players. We don't know a poorly implemented game mechanic to ensure our demise is coming...

In a world where one can completely heal broken bones instantly with a simple splint or recover from near death in 20 minutes of being fully healed and hydrated, this mechanic makes no sense and should be removed. Hopefully it was just something left over that fell through code reviews and not an intended "feature".. -

I am fine with loot being more scarce than in the past but the current system is bunkers. The military outpost and AFs should be a clearing defined region strictly segregated from surrounding regions. No one is going to spend hours loot nearby cities in the hopes they can game they system into spawning loot at a military output. Hell by that logic these towns should be spawning military loot, after all they are apparently impacting such areas. Yes it's "alpha" and they are "working" upon it but clearly the current system needs a lot more work. -

Actually that should be enforced by BI, they need to set the standards for the servers and enforce them. Expecting a third party to do it is just asking for trouble. -
Odd because my experience has been if the bag is completely full, the game doesn't shuffle the items when you reload. I have lost several shotguns because I had some room open and the game some how couldn't fit everything back in place.
