Actually that should be enforced by BI, they need to set the standards for the servers and enforce them. Expecting a third party to do it is just asking for trouble. -
Odd because my experience has been if the bag is completely full, the game doesn't shuffle the items when you reload. I have lost several shotguns because I had some room open and the game some how couldn't fit everything back in place.

Yeah, I noticed that pretty much every FL server run by "gameservers" with persistence turned on has either nothing or just junk loot. Now I just avoid trying to loot up upon any server with persistence enabled at all. -
I have been looking for one for the last two days. I have cached 2 shot guns and yet I still haven't found a single hack saw. Maybe I am just unlucky but loot in general seems pretty scares lately.

Until we get a feel for what a server would be like at full capacity, it is hard to determine if the map is too small or not. This is my one concern about vehicles. -
I would like to see more improvised melee weapons (not just play made but for example just picking up a chair to fend off a zed) and I would love to see a sword added.

I never said I control all the engagements but unless I am just being careless, I am always looking for the best way to break contact and get some distance if engaged. When I take fire I don't just dive for cover and hide, I will quickly take cover, look for the best way to put some distance or get to better cover so I can assess the situation. Staying in one place after the initial contact is the best way to ensure you get flanked or allow the other side to get into a better position to fire into you cover. So unless you have me trapped in a room with only one way out, I am not going to be sitting there for 30 seconds. The difference is you consider long pauses as a continuation of the fight, I don't.

You know what they say about making "assumptions" right? I get into plenty of them but when I engage I ensure to do so from a position in which I can either finish the fight quickly or break contact as needed. If you think taking a pop shot at someone and then expecting them to just hang around while you take forever to make a move is combat, then that is your problem.

While I agree that combat logging is wrong, it is hard to call a 30 second blind log out "combat logging". If you give them that 30 second window then you would be hard pressed to claim you were actively engaged with them. I could not imagine the uproar if the log out timer was more like MMOs. Where it is like 15 seconds and not a blind log out process, you guys would go crazy. Again I would never do it, because if I fan carve out a 30 second window to exit the game safely then I can be pretty sure that I can also escape on foot as well.

Seriously, why is it that anytime someone makes a suggestion this is the most common response. Yet if you give props to something you like, someone doesn't come running in saying "ALPHA!!!". Being in "alpha" is not a reason not to make suggestions or comment upon features you don't think are working correctly.

My play time is not about being entertaining for you, it is about being fun to me and wasting my time torturing another player is not fun to me. So a quick shot, followed by "your dead" is good enough for me. -

Oh I have, trust me. Not sure if it is just bad luck or something is off with the loot respawn on the FL servers but you will find almost nothing of value at any military site these days. That is why I have been hunting down crash sites lately. -
We are along ways off before that could even work. For one with a 40 man cap, it would be a nightmare. Keep in mind the MMOs have servers which runs hundreds if not thousands of player on them. Secondly I can't think of a main stream MMO which doesn't host their own servers and is against player owned or pirate servers completely. I will never understand the big deal over sever hoping. Coming from a mainly MMO gaming background, it is a new concept for me but it has never been one that bothered me. I see it more as an indication that perhaps the loot system is still in need of tweaking. People server hop because they have unable to find loot and move on to another hoping for better luck.

Wait, you have actually found crash sites since the patch? I was starting to think they broke them once again, as I haven't seen a single one since the hot fix. Usually I find at least 1 a day and now I am starting to run low in 5.56 ammo for my 101... -
That is my play style completely. You need to add this option to the poll, as it does really fit into any of the possible selections.

I know where they are at, my point was that this removed three of the possible spawn points. Oh and there are actually two at the NWAF.

Could you jump to any more conclusion about what the hell a "POI" is? Your right now all points of interest have to be military bases, they could be hunting lodges or long forgotten camp grounds. Hell they could even be abandoned mines or old towns that went under. Just placing a vast forest out there is not going to be much interest to too many players. But hey, at least you got your rant on... -
Correct me if I am wrong here but the 101 only spawns in the long barracks correct? If so then I hope they look into adjusting its spawn points after removing the 3 barracks there.

Totally agree, right now the forested areas I do travel through are just a convenient means to hide myself while traveling between popular hot spots on the west side of the map. The problem is how do you make these vast forests nothing more than dead space that are only used as short cuts from one point to another? Now there is more than enough open area for them to stick cities and bases with removing any more or at least integrate them together. I always liked how the military outpost SE of Pavolo is completely tucked away in a forested valley. Just adding in some forested area with no point of interest is not the solution. -

I never said but being anti-KOS was anti-PvP but KOS is just a different tactic. Just like you run around with a squad and overwhelm opponents with numbers, they do it through sheer surprise. They are both valid tactics, you just happen to play a different way but that doesn't make either play style any more or less valid. -

Wait, so if they want to engage you in PvP should they inform you first and then arrange a duel in at high noon outside the pub? You may not like how they decided to start the engagement but one thing is clear, it is still PvP.
