And as for your "counter strike" experience, trust me I have my best "I am intimidated" face on right now :) So I will stick to my normal operating procedure when dealing with would be bandits, who knows it might be you searching for that stone after all.

"Put your hands up" in my experience tends to be code for "I'm a terrible shot, so please stand very still for me". So I pretty much never surrender and will either attempt retreat or go down fighting.

Odd I am watching some people streaming EXP right now and it seems fine for them.

If only my boss shared that point of view...

I am sure we will see more and more AI entities once they can get them working without being a huge drain upon server resources. That is the real problem with them right now, when they added the hordes on a test server recently it ran so much worse then the other EXP servers that they brought it down in about a day. Just give them time and things will get sorted out.

I am not asking for them to put up a ton of servers so they are all sub populated but I bet if they brought up another 50% per region they would still be very (if not completely) full. If not I will just keep playing the mod or Epoch until it goes live. Sorry but I just have better things to do than spamming hoping to get in (or at the very least add a queue system).

Can we at least get a few more servers? The US ones are constantly full at night and I can not bring myself to play the current stable build but I am unwilling to sit there spamming "join server" in the hopes I can grab a suddenly open slot (against everyone else ding the very same thing).

Not me or at the very least add some more EXP servers back. All the US ones were full every time I checked last night, I finally just gave up and played the mod instead.

Neither of us were interested in sitting there spamming the "join server" key hoping to snag a suddenly open slot.

Great so now we went from a 4 SE server to one, which for reason now has twice the ping as yesterday and constantly full... I know they want to stress test but are the wanting to see how much stress we can take or the servers? Hopefully this goes live this week, I doubt I am going to sit around spamming "join" to try and get in upon full servers. .58 is much better than .57, so lets get this live.

Actually now that you mention it, I have seen this bug. I was soaked and looting up in the NWAF tent city when I found a pristine set of TTKS pants, I swapped them out for my hunting pants and they suddenly became soaked as well.

I really hope that is a a bug... Wonder if this updated fixed being unable to swap out the hand guard upon various weapon.

About time, I spent hours looking for this weekend and never found one. Plenty of TTKS, gorka and police pants but no tops at all. I even took a trip out to the prison and still no luck, now at least I can get a decent water proof top.

I have been spending some time up on the northern section of the map and the last two nights it has rained and when the sun goes down I am getting the cold indicator and shaking message. I made fires just to ensure I didn't hit hypothermia. I am sure fires will be visible from a greater range eventually but keep in mind that it is very possible to reduce the ambient light so that you will need to be pretty close to see them.

Never mind, I just started reading the linked post about the CLE system and found that items stored in persistent storage do not count against the item cap, so they should have no impact.

Anyone have a link explaining the basics of the current CLE system? I am wondering what the long term impact of persistence (especially hording camps) will have upon the item respawning process.

I did something similar once. I was in a fire fight clearing a building in Pavolo military compound. I hit my hotkey to equip a grenade and then proceed to throw. Only did I notice a second too late that the grenade didn't actually equip and I instead threw my AKM towards the unfriendly player. I was able to quickly retreat but I have to wonder what he thought seeing me throw a fully kitted AKM his way.

Keep in mind they can change loot spawning on the fly now. Just for a comparision, last night I did a full NWAF run on a 1pp server. I found 2 SKS (tons of SKS ammo), some damage scopes, some makarovs and an MP5 (which was dropped by someone else). Tons of boots, various helmets and an pile of UMP maps but no AKs of any kind, no vests, no back packs and the only clothing I found was pants (WTF is up with no tops?). So maybe they tweaked something today to increase it.

Only one I saw with a truck was at Guglovo (heading towards Novy. I was going to try and flag them down but they were hauling ass and I missed them. Oh EXP I tend to be a more friendly player and restrain my more aggressive instincts.

That's true, I could see them adding the slot back in but locking it once filled. That way you can tell if you need one or not, wonder if they have a life span before you have to replace them or can they be damaged by gun fire?

Unless they seriously jacked up the military loot spawn rate, that won't happen upon EXP. I started a character on a 1pp EXP server last night and after nearly four hours (hitting up several military and police spawn areas) I was armed with a Winchester and a CR with 2 mags. No SKS, no MP5s, no AKS of any caliber, matter of fact the only military gear of worth I found was a worn high cap vest, some boots and a backpack. Not quite what I would call "fully military geared" and it took well longer than 20 minutes. Sure on stable you could do it with the bugged gate houses but not any more on EXP. Does anyone know if the loot spawning adjusts based upon the servers population? If not then keep in mind that while you may find a ton of loot on a 20 man server, it is actually meant to support more than double that number.

And probably why they added it :) Damn hoarders...
