shotguns are fine, they just need some improvement to become deadly close range gun

I like that you cant just easily run and attack imidiately but it should stop after you kneel or stop moving for a while

I think developers should implement us some diary to write where have we been, what have we do every day in the game and statistics how long we are alive so we can try to stay alive as long as we can :)

If you love your equipment don't play today, game is crazy it can even restart your character. Lags everywhere problems with connections etc.

I need some diary too so other player can read it if he kills me. Something like DAY 1: bla bla bla DAY 2: bbla bla - it's easy to implement and it would be great for roleplay players ! Of course not automated but written by myself.

I think there should be some motivation for players (stats, ranks, skills, advantage or better equipment on next spawn) to stay alive as long as they can. For example for 10 hours in the game alive you will get screwdriver on spawn next time, but only next time. For few days in game alive you could learn to walk quietly until you die etc. Same as in RPG games but your skills advantages and other things would apply only in one life of your character. As a hero you would have advantage in defending yourself and more fun playing survival style. As a bandit you don't care you are going to die soon anyway. Point is to make game more fun for players that don't want to shoot people, they should have some progress system. As a bandit you see progress when you kill someone but as survivor you don't even know how long did you stay alive and don't see any progress there. I think this wouldn't ruin game for anyone and it would make the game better for some types of players. Another idea is to make people who survived for long time in previous game spawn on north side of Chernarus and other people on the south.

Remove or change NEAF and Balota. One military airfield is already enough. Too much military.

You can't legally own powerful guns as automatic rifles and guns with more than ten-cartridge capacity in Russia as a civilian. Civilian's guns categories usually are self defence - pistols, hunting - rifles, and sport guns. Other is police and military stuff. I would put small pistols everywhere; hunting rifles, bows, crossbows in countryside; police pistols and shotguns in police stations and automatic rifles, grenades etc. in military outposts, bases, crashsites but very rare. It would be more realistic for that kind of country. -
DayZ moving to new engine - ENFUSION

I agree with this decision, in the end fixing of old engine would take longer than adapt new one which is better for this purpose. -
There's a rule that side that is attacking defending side should have twice as much resources than defenders.

What about white clothes for keeping yourself cool and black will get warm faster - but they are better camuflage.

And one old bridge, massive PvP for bandits there and survivors need some boats to cross the river. I think that's a great idea !

What's the current hacking status like in DayZ:SA?

Yesterday we killed 4 of 5 cheaters - unlimited M4 magazines and they were able to see thru walls - probably textures off. It took one hour to camp and fight them. It really destroys game experience. I don't care about unlimited ammo but looking thru walls or even turning of wall textures and be able to see thru threes houses and everything should be removed as soon as they can do it. Also they should add some door opening sounds. -
Chernarus idea for the devs (for final release not now).

I agree with you the best idea is military loot only in north side of island - that is a must for this game, we have to move PvP zones out of coast. I would also love to see helicopters flying, I suggested it in one post too. But not sure if UH1, I would better like to see Mi-2 or Mi-8 in Chernarus. Maybe Mi-24 which would contain some special equipment. I totally agree with changing loot spawns, I ignore small buildings too and often find many items as helmets and some tools etc. that I don't care about because they aren't rare at all. That should be fixed, I want to be happy that I found some helmet. Casual clothes and tools for all but more useful and protective tools very rare I would suggest. -
That's interesting it may be reason my head is spinning after playing Battlefield 3 for long time.

What firearm? You can have gun and enough ammo in few hours, I don't have problem to fight in coast Towns, die and come back to fight while my friends are still alive fighting. I really don't see any reason to be afraid of death or try to stay alive for long time periods right now, you can have all you need really fast.

I don't understand why we need fov at all. I have never set that in any game I played. I would just lock that on default value.

When the game is finished they may think about it, but right now there's no reason to try to implement single player modes.

Game most of all needs to reduce amount of military clothing spawns. I don't like that everybody is dressed like a soldier army wear should be extremely rare. -
I would have no problem to go with one character for one server. Or you change server = you will spawn at default position on the map kind of solution, but improved.

The real problem is server hopping not spawn in buildings or everywhere else. How can you solve it without making players annoyed by solution? Maybe some ghost system etc. but I don't think we want that in this game.

If you play hero you get killed 100%, it's sad but true :D
