    Thank you verify the game everything was ok. went into game still no fire/flames.

    i tired putting more wood on the fire wouldn't let me. Also tried to take off the wood and put back on it didn't let me take the logs off either. I have no Idea why it is doing this I remember I had flames when I first bought the game and installed dayz now I don't. I also don't know how to run a validation through steam to check files. Thank you both for replying. It's just driving me nuts I can't see the flames!!!

    Sorry to ask but I'm kinda new to the steam thing. How do I do that?

    I have a problem when I put down a campfire I can't see the flames at all? My friend can see them but I can not. I have waited to make sure it wasn't lag also tested it on other servers and I even re-installed everything. Still nothing. I have flames if something blows up, only for a few seconds then just smoke. I don't think it is a graphics issue because I had flames before. Now all of sudden flames are gone. Also at heli crash sites only smoke, I use to see fire not anymore though. I have tried everything to get it to work and no luck. Anybody with this issue or has fixed this issue love to hear from you. Thanks! Cheers~
