    Marijuana plant, grow and smoke

I am with you on this one. I already replied with my support to the other post that suggested to bring in cocaine and beer so you definitely have my support for growing and trading marijuana. Drugs and alcohol will become one of the most valuable and rarest commodities after a "real" zombie apocalypse. I know what I have in my survival kit at home; Glock 19 with three magazines, 200 rounds of ammunition, three bottles of water, and half a pound of blow. And to all those that are hating on drugs, wouldn't it be better to do drugs in the game instead of on the streets?

    Clothing Ideas

I think what this game really needs is some high-end fashion. I am talking about Versace suits, Prada sunglasses, Gucci shoes, etc. Don't make them common so that all the low-lives playing this game are wearing a pair of Hugo Boss jeans. That would defeat the whole point of the exclusivity that the respective fashion designers had in mind but still make it accessible to those who want to look good as they casually stroll through the streets of Elektro or Cherno.

    COCAINE, NARCOTICS, BEER AND SMOKES

I was playing today and I was thinking this exact same thing. I had just wasted 3 players in Berezino and thought "I could really go for a beer right now". Strangely, I wasn't thinking about a real beer though because that would go against the "realistic" aspect of the game. Drugs would have worked just as well at the time. I could have really used a line or two - in the game, of course. There are a lot of good performance enhancing drugs out there in real life like amphetamine which could be introduced to affect the stats of the character. I also think the developers should introduce a "mood system" into the game whereby the actions and environment in the game determine the mood of the character which in turn affects things like aiming, running, etc. That way if your character is depressed or anxious you can give him a good dose of valium to relax him or a couple of Es to help him forget about the fact that the world has ended, all his family/friends are dead, and he has to kill EVERYONE he comes across just to stay alive. The game is already half-way there with the morphine auto-injector (which I admittedly use more often than I probably should). Why not go all the way? This definitely has my vote.
  4. I'm with you on the last sentence. My job would actually be alright as well if it wasn't for clients.
  5. Stick to finished products? LOL I would be waiting at least two more years for the "finished product". I will just try enjoy the bread crumbs that the development team hands out on a half-yearly basis.
  6. I take your point about the stealth aspect of the bicycle and the low emission advantage over the Lexus. Still it's not what I was expecting for a first vehicle... suddenly the idea of rolling in a Hyandai doesn't seem so bad.
  7. Yea I love that shit. I don't even server hop for loot anymore. I server hop to get into a good gun fight or catch some camping snipers overlooking the airfield.

    I should have known better

Because he was probably doing the same thing on a 1/40 server... what a hypocrite.
  9. No Lexus??!?!?! WTF are they going to release? Zombie apocalypse or not, I won't be seen in any of those cheap Hyandais. Me and my crew only roll in Lexuses or X5s.
  10. "We estimate that reaching Beta version with all key features present will take more than one year from current stage" Cited from: http://dayz-standalone.wikia.com/wiki/Development_roadmap LOL!!!!! I don't know what sort of patience someone needs to have to wait for the finished product if the Beta is still a year away.
  11. So you are saying I am going to get my Lexus six months from now? I am going to hold you to that.
  12. Firstly, I don't know about the demographics of the community so I cannot comment on the "impatient kids" and I don't think you could make a claim like that either unless you have access to stats that no one else does. Secondly, if you are seeing a lot "these" types of posts, surely that tells you something - and no, it's not that are we all impatient kids. What it does mean is that others are also running out of patience or maybe even waiting for something that will never arrive... The reality is; the developers have already received their money so from a financial perspective dedicating more resources and time to this game would not make sense. Sure, finishing the game might attract more players but a time spent vs return analysis would show you that any more money or time spent would not yield a greater return than they have already received. The underlying assumption here is that those who wanted to play this game already purchased it and while there are those that will wait for the "finished" product, they are in the minority. Sorry to ruin your working day but I just wanted to vent my frustration with the hopes that the developers might listen to the voices of the community whether they be kids, impatient, or otherwise.
  13. Not to sound ungrateful but since I bought this game back at the end of last year, very little new content has come out in the game. I am sure there have been many fixes and bug patching but at this rate the game won't be finished for another year... or two. God only knows when we would see some vehicles in the game. I like the game but the slow pace of development is just killing me. And before everyone starts saying "What did you expect? This is an alpha release." have a think about how long it will stay as an alpha going at the pace that it has.....
