Hey there guys, I used to play DayZ on my laptop (barely, but it was playable on 25+ fps). I recently built my own computer and I'm getting around 3-10 fps, Which... Should not happen... I've attached a screen grab from "SystemRequirementsLab.com" that shows my computer specs. Any help is appreciated thanks.

This was for the Vanilla mod and the latest version, I have also played on multiple servers. Some with 50 people and some with 10 and only an uptime of 30 minutes.

I'm sorry, I have no idea. I have reinstalled DayZ and I'm still getting low fps, I have also followed that guide you said and turned off everything that didn't need to be on, It still says it's only 10-20 fps but it's smoother, When I make a hard turn though it gets really choppy. I guess this will have to do though, Thank you Mos1ey and Kichilron for all of your help and feedback.

Sorry, I should have made it clear that I have the FPS Capped at 30. It will run at over 250 when I have it uncapped.

DayZ and LoL are the only games I have issues with. I can run Minecraft maxed out at 30 fps, Skyrim maxed out, Simcity 5 maxed out and Banished maxed out. All of those above 30 FPS and smooth. They are the only games I currently have installed as the computer is brand new. Thank you for the guide, I will go through that once I reinstall DayZ and report back.

Yes the Mod, There should not be any corrupt files as this is a completly brand new computer(less then 48 hours old) and I only downloaded DayZ(commander) An hour before I posted this. I will reinstall DayZ and report back.

Only League of Legends and I've opened a support ticket with them. Every other game I can play at the recommended settings. I just used the Nvidia GeForce Experience and set the settings to optimal and just played Arma2:OA smooth on those settings, Just when ever I load into a DayZ server the FPS is below 10. EDIT: After lowering those settings to Normal, I'm gettin from 7-17 fps now.

Anisotropic Filtering: Very High Anti-aliasing: Very High ATOC: All Trees + Grass Display Mode: Full-screen HDR Quality:Very High Objects Detail: Very High PPAA: Disabled Resolution:1920x1080 Shadow Detail: Normal Terrain Detail: High Texture Detail: Very High Video Memory: Default Visibility: 1200 These are the recommended settings from "NVIDIA GeForce Experience" I have also turned them all down to Low/Disabled and it lowered my already crippling fps.
