Adding more enterable buildings e.g supermarkets in useless towns and a barracks at the NEAF is an amazing idea, looking forward to what will come from this. P.S Also, Wormloaf, if you're following this thread at all, that was fucking intense yesterday night. Was all up in the north with a PBX when I suddenly see 2 people driving in a green car (probably to stash it somewhere). You didn't see me so I fired my m4 holo at your car, your car wasn't very fast offroad so one of you went out and hid in the trees while the other kept driving on. I got a little bit scared because I didn't have a visual on the guy that ran out (you, Wormloaf). Ran away and came up all the way from the other side. (Ran south, came back from the north). My PBX was still there so I decided to book to my PBX but while running I noticed you lying down under a tree overwatching that PBX. I went to the ground instantly and I didn't know if you had seen me or not. I lied down there like 10 meters away from you in the grass for around 3 minutes. I saw you moving backwards going out of my line of sight so I fired a few shots to scare you off and maybe have you run away. After my 3rd shot I saw blood coming out of the tree (I had switched to my FAL by then). I knew I hit you once so I stood up and gave you another shot even though I didn't see you. Ran up to your body because I knew your friend was still out there somewhere. Thanks for the NVG's, rangefinders and GPS though, could use that very well. But that was really intense man, lying down 10-20 meters next to someone else you don't know.

Where did that come from? I didn't take any of your choppers and your own squad crashed the Huey. How am I supposed to "learn to fly"? I actually outsped the other chopper like 5 times and getting out of range from it. Please tell me where you get this from. I have no hard times with flying and I have no idea why you're saying I'm bad at flying. If I were, I would've crashed my chopper by now. Why can't I say that I find vehicles not THAT important when there's choppers on the server? Why are you telling me I'm not allowed to judge about, because it's clearly my own opinion. If you find vehicles the best thing there is then sure, I don't mind. It's just my opinion Also, yes I stole the chopper that I have right now. Am I not allowed to? It's YOUR choice you spend hours and hours on repairing a chopper. YOU take the risk of getting it stolen, I'm not. You don't have to blame me for destroying your camp even though you are the one who's taking the risk. If it bothers you so much, then why start with it in the first place? If you don't know how to describe me for what I did and just insult me for it, it obviously bothers you too much. Which then again makes me happy for what I did : ) Yes, that was my buddy. He had 3 GPSes on him because we were about to log off. It's safer to keep it on your character than store it in a vehicle/tent which could get raided over night. We found two at 1 heli crash site and had the 3rd one from a guy that died in a chopper crash earlier (R.I.P Shift). I don't think they're too common, we were just lucky finding them.

This would be a very cool feature to use in the mod but then again it will probably cause problems, especially with the lighting. An example would be the camping tents. Sometimes camping tents show up VERY bright on my screen before they're actually rendered. If i see a tent from far away it's very easy to spot. This might happen with this camo net too (?) even though I'm not 100% sure about it.

Hello, thanks for the harassing language, looked really mature, already shows what kind of person you are. I destroyed your camp because having vehicles is pretty much useless. When there's choppers on the server there's not really a point in hiding stuff because you'll lose it over night anyway. Don't get attached to your vehicles so much next time before insulting me. Thanks for showing me that it actually was the right thing to destroy your badly hidden camp. "Cunt". P.S Don't worry I'm not hating on the squad. Sup bro, very nice stash you have there. It's a shame that it's pretty much all gone though. I saw you and someone else in that HUEY flying above the airfield, I was alone in the chopper so I wasn't able to take you out. You then decided to shoot at me instead and we had a nice little helicopter chase for around 30 minutes. You haven't hit a single bullet on me even though it was a nice try emptying around 3 mags on me. Later you started shooting my friend in the UAZ down at the airfield and I tried to kamikaze fly into you to scare you off. I then chased you instead, turned around and you chased me again. After a while of chasing around I saw you and your pilot trying to land near your camp. You went nose down into the trees on my screen because apparently your pilot got disconnected (?). Your chopper blew up and we decided to check your camp out. Looted your body (thanks for the coyote pack and the rangefinders). Then we made your little bird helicopter get stuck in a tree and make it all red. We blew up your V3S (emptied your M249 SAW mags in it), your blue GAZ and we left the white sedan because why not. Atleast you still have your white sedan you can use. Thanks for the amazing night and you should probably consider not shooting at me next time, I'd probably leave your camp alone. (If you don't believe it was me, it was stashed at 081050. Everything's gone there now anyway so if other players decide to go there, there's no point). Thank you for your quick and well explained reply, Venthos. I really do understand your point of view right now, I indeed think it's also better that people actually have to be careful with their ammo.

Been playing on your server even more now, loving it so far. Only thing that came to my mind though is that it's pretty unnecessary to remove weapons like M14 Aim, SVD Camo, M9 SD, Bizon SD, MP5 SD and the M4 SD. I'll explain to you why: M14 Aim: A pretty rare weapon that's not found very easily that does a lot of damage. Why is this taken out? It's definitely not too powerful, if you're taking this out then why would the MK48 still be in? Same damage and a red dot sight too, even shoots faster. M14 Aim is definitely not too powerful and is a dealbreaker for many checking this thread out. SVD Camo: If you're leaving the CZ and M24 in, why not the SVD Camo? It's not more powerful in any way. Exact same damage as the CZ and M24. You can't use NVG's in the SVD Camo so I think it's in no way more powerful compared to the other two. Besides, this weapon is VERY rare. If you get the weapon you atleast deserve it. M9 SD: A good gun for killing zombies. This gun is very weak and is only good to take out zombies. So in my opinion this is not a weapon that gives a player a huge advantage. Bizon SD: Same with the M9 SD. Not a powerful gun at all and it's pretty good for zombie killing. Not even a red dot sight so in no possible way too powerful to be in the game. MP5 SD: Exact same with the Bizon SD. M4 SD: Yes this gun is very good because you can take out zombies silently and aggro none if you're trying to take out a player. But then again this weapon is pretty damn rare and is not too powerful. I would understand it being taken out if it did more damage than it does now but it doesn't. Should be left in, again a dealbreaker for many players because this is a much loved weapon. Hopefully you understand what I tried to tell you.

Hey, thanks a bunch for whitelisting me, liking it so far. One thing came in my mind though, I saw a black SUV looting a crashed heli near Novy/Stary. I can't find anywhere in your post that those SUV's are added too? I'm pretty sure that vehicle is not in the normal list of vehicles for DayZ. Can you confirm that it's legit on your server? I logged in on Skalisty Island (was repairing a chopper the night before, server restarted though, gave up). I was at the little docks near the lighthouse checking for vehicle parts the night before. When I logged in at that place I saw zombie activity where the helicopter spawns, the heli was there also. I climbed up in the lighthouse and I was sweeping around with my L85 to see player activity. I saw a guy with a hero skin, repairing the chopper. He kept leaving and coming back to the chopper to continue repairing it. (probably had a tent somewhere on the island). After a good 5 minutes or so I saw 2 others run up, a guy in a ghillie suit and a guy in camo clothing. You were all a group together and I've literally been watching you from the lighthouse for atleast a good 20 minutes. The camo and ghillie guy had a PBX parked somewhere at the island where I could see it. You guys kept running up to it, took the PBX to drive off and came back 5 minutes later. When I thought you finally repaired the chopper I was having my AS50 ready to set up an ambush (I wanted the chopper obviously). But once again I saw the camo and ghillie guy run off to the PBX for a 4th time. I was fed up with waiting and decided to get my AS50, and shoot the camo and ghillie guy right in the head once they arrived at the PBX. I knew the hero guy was still out there, I took my G17 and I had to fight off a bunch of zombies. Suddenly I heard a chopper getting ready to go up. I never knew the chopper was repaired because you guys kept leaving, so I didn't expect the other guy to get in and fly away. I zeroed and kept shooting at your chopper (tried to hit the main rotor). I had M107 rounds for my AS50 so that wasn't really optimal, but I kept shooting and shooting at your chopper. I realized that you couldn't fly at all because you were almost doing a double frontflip up in the air and you flew away with a speed of 20KMH. I shot like 3 clips at your chopper (was hard to hit at some point because he was around 800 meters away) until I didn't see it anymore. I ran as fast as I could to the PBX and started racing over the water trying to chase you, with no luck. I arrived all the way at Guba to just see a bus sitting in the forest. I then gave up and was gonna go back to Skalisty to find a different server with a chopper. I suddenly got shot at at the sunken boat just north of Berezino. It scared me because those were AS50 shots. (it wasn't the guy in the chopper, this one had a ghillie suit on). I was driving as fast as I could to the shore and went up on it with atleast 50 kmh, leaving the boat way up on the beach. I got out and found cover in some trees. Took out my L85 and scanned the horizon I heard the shots from, kept moving a little to try and get a different angle. At some point I saw you, looking at my direction. I thought you saw me but apparently you didn't because you never opened fire. I took my AS50 and zeroed in to get a shot on you. I was leaning behind a rock, I shot, and apparently I shot some extended invisible wall on the rock. You noticed the shots and I saw you run off. I had been looking for you for a good 10 minutes, then while sweeping with my thermal vision you got me in one shot. (I guess karma for trying to steal a chopper, eh?) This was both an intense and epic day, and I wanted to thank you for that. (I remembered the 2 guys I killed were named "RPH" and the other was named something like "RHYZAL"). P.S Do you even call it "driving" in a boat? Correct me if wrong please.

hello, i know that vehicles and tents are insanely bugged in 1.7.2.5. nothing is really saving and everything is being spawned back at its spawn location. does this shit also happen on 1.7.2.4? please someone confirm :).

No, you will see an obvious grey line that shows you what the edge of the map is. If there is vegetation it is still IN the map. Once you just get to plain green hills that don't even have grass, that means you're out of bounds. (Trees/Grass = Inside the map).
