It is not lottery. It is about being smart and knowing where people tend to be and counter that. However there are many occasions where death may seem unfair. Yesterday i shot a guy two times with a mosin at short range. the guy didn't even flinch. He turned around and killed me. And what do you mean with the 4000mph? that they were cheating? I've seen a ton of players doing that too lately. Berezino is full players teleporting around and running at insane speeds. Almost like there is zero cheat protection...

Yeah. the game is missing stuff like this. The map feels completely dead. An effect like fleeing birds would definitely make the world seem more alive.

Is it possible to handcuff yourself irl though?

I hate and like your idea... I want to re-spawn and play with my friends right away. but re-spawning and running for your gear again is quite stupid and unrealistic. considering all spawns have been moved to Berezino this is quite easy to do. So a timer would not fix this problem in the best way. People can "hide" bodies (they're not hidden but you can access any of the items though) which is good. but not many people do that for some reason. locking items away from the player can also be worked around by a friend picking up the items from the body and then handing it over to you. And i would never want to be forced out of a server since I've found one that never lags for me (which is rare).

What? no? Why would you say that? I did not know that. I will try this :D but that does feel a bit overpowered. Even morphine is a bit overpowered... but yeah there should be some kind of rare insta-fix and morphine works well as that. Making it a struggle to survive using the ideas that i have would make things much more interesting other than it just insta-fixes itself. It would also add a level of immersion to the surviving bit of the game.

Pretty cool idea. Maybe other players can pass on knowledge to others somehow. So you can pretty much trade information with each other.

Today my friend broke his leg by falling down the second floor of the barn (you know what barn i am talking about) and I was thinking... Maybe you could add a feature that let you use a stick with a bandage or rope so that you can stand up and limp away. Your leg will heal over time if you don't find any morphine but you'll jog much slower than the normal jogging speed. I rarely find any morphine so a solution like this would be cool. Maybe the use of painkillers would be necessary so you don't pass out while limping. Or maybe the leg will start bleeding every so often while limping so you need to bandage it. If the bandage is dirty and/or in a bad condition you could get sick and require medicine. After your leg has started to bleed five times and you've bandaged it every time, your leg should now be healed. I think this is better than just trying to find a way to kill yourself after you've broken your leg. Feel free to add other ideas to mine :) . This is how much I came up with

Have ALL spawns moved up to Berezino? Me and my friends got tired of hanging out there because of the death match madness. So all we did yesterday was jumping off all kinds of buildings (or get shot most of the time) until we would spawn somewhere else. But no. We must have tried 20+ times each before we gave up. What was the idea behind having everyone spawn there? Is it some kind of temporary fix for something? all it seems to do is setting a player mentality that this game is all about shooting humans.

Oh... so if I open a badly damaged can of beans it could damage my can opener?

Okay thanks! Now I'll just go ahead and open all my food then :thumbsup: And yeah, i knew about spilling food when not using a can opener to open them :)

Should I wait with opening a can of food until I need to eat it? Does it go bad in any way over time? Like it could go from pristine to worn etc. Sometimes it feels like that is the case. I've had food that was pristine at first and then become "ruined". Maybe my food got damaged in other ways I don't know of though.
