So I've change the fov values in the arma 2 config and in the config under my username in dayz and my field of view still doesn't change in game. Can anyone help me?

It didn't work :/ I'm not understanding it. People don't have to go through all of this trouble. They just had to open it with notepad and edit the value

So it would be worth it to change them to read only?

I did that except it was in ArmA2.config, Sir%Bartholomew.config. I searched for "Sir Bartholomew.ArmA2OAProfile but I don't have it

Would it be the ArmA2OA.config? I don't have that file you're talking about. The only two files relating to users would be User1.config and Sir%Bartholomew.config. And in all 3 of those I have the values changed and when I oped them, it's the values I set them

Yes I did. I even triple checked to make sure the values were what I changed them too

Fovtop: 1.22 Fovleft: 2.17 My monitor is 1920x1080. I don't know what the problem is. I've changed it in the 2 files you're supposed to change it in but it's just staying default in game

Yes I did. I changed them in all of the config files that have the fov values in them
