    No loot

I played this game probably 10 years ago and there were plenty of items to find. I recently installed it on Xbox and I can't get past the initial spawn cities without dying. I was in a larger town and only managed to get 2 cans of food but had nothing to open them with. Why are items so scarce now and will you ever change it?
  2. Having a variety of zombie types would make the game more interesting and dynamic. The only problem is that packs of slower weaker zombies might be more trouble for a new spawn running solo. The only option would be to run or hide because the numbers would be overwhelming in melee range.
  3. I was deathly afraid of zombies unless I had an axe. Then one day I got cornered as a new spawn and didn't have much gear anyway so I said screw it, let's fight! To my delight and complete surprise I beat that zombie down like a boxing champ with no injuries. Since that day I haven't even bothered picking up a melee weapon unless it's an axe. I find it much easier to head punch the zombie and then give it a beat down while it's getting back up. Rinse and repeat. Punches are much faster so it's not as bad if you miss that first headshot. I find them too easy unless you get more than one or it's the kind wearing a ballistic helmet. Once they stop glitching through walls they'll be even easier. I wish there was more balance between their eyesight and hearing. They have eagle eyes but almost no hearing, unless it's a gun shot. They can aggro from way across a field but I can be walking or running around inside a house, walk out the back door and there's a zombie just standing there.

Zombie infested cities with rare loot

I agree, my entire party was killed by a guy that we think was using a clipping hack.

    Clothing functionality

Paulie, it's a game, rarely will something be 100% realistic. Besides, we are just relaying ideas. No need to be so critical. 1 hit, 2-3 hits, does it really matter that much?

    Clothing functionality

I think that would be fair, rather than permanent protection from body shots it would only mitigate so much damage before it was ruined. This would make it worthwhile to have but it wouldn't give the person too much of an advantage over others. I would think if they added it, it would have to be military body armor. Civilian body armor mostly protects against handgun rounds while police/military armor protects against high velocity rifle rounds.

Zombie infested cities with rare loot

If the loot was the same as any other city why would someone go there if they get the same stuff with significantly less risk? The idea was to attract groups of people by providing a substantial reward. Requiring a group to enter these cities might also give strangers a reason to cooperate instead of the usual KoS. Maybe it's not a city but a large military complex? Whatever fits.

Zombie infested cities with rare loot

The loot that spawned would be random but they would be unique. I get the point about having a specific spot for something and agree maybe it's not the best idea, but the main purpose was to give a group of people a reason to go there. There should be areas that are unsafe for people to travel alone. Yes, a big city on a full server is dangerous to travel alone, but that's why people stick to low pop servers. Just trying to add some flavor and more group PvP.

    Clothing functionality

I understand that the Kevlar vests would be considered in the OP category, but they would be extremely rare. You're almost guaranteed to find at least 1 UK assault vest when you loot up a military base, but the chance of finding one with a bullet proof plate would be something like 1-2%. My other reasoning for something rare like this is to create more things to do. We all know that once you die so many times you know where to go to gear up, and once you have everything there's nothing left to do but PvP and stare death in the face. Adding rare drops would give geared up players some more end game activities.
  10. Add 1 or 2 new cities that are infested with zombies but have some unique and very useful items that spawn in the middle. I'm talking enough zombies that would make it certain death for any individual trying to enter on their own. At minimum you'd need 3-5 people to stay alive and clear all the zombies. Of course the spawns would have to be in a place to where people would be greatly discouraged to server hop so they could farm it, like outside in the middle of a huge zombie spawn. This would also create an interesting PvP area if there's more than 1 group trying to clear their way to the prizes. Maybe one sneaks up on another while clearing to take them by surprise, or maybe they wait and let them get the loot and then ambush them on the way out.

    Clothing functionality

Add more functionality or game mechanics to clothing so it's not for aesthetics only. Examples: - First thing that comes to mind is the body temperature like the mod has and needing to wear warmer clothing when it's cold out or you might get sick - Wearing camo reduces the chance you will be spotted by zombies or wild game your hunting - Running/athletic shoes give a small run/sprint boost on flatter ground while hiking boots increase your speed climbing steep hills. Maybe there's a negative effect as well, like wearing running shoes while trying to run up a hill gives a small chance to cause a fracture from falling, and hiking boots would slightly decrease your running speed on flat ground from their weight. - Some assault vests or jackets have a chance to spawn with a Kevlar chest plate that reduces bullet damage to the body, or maybe stops damage from low velocity rounds like handgun or shotgun rounds. More thoughts to come...
