If you join a server for the first time in the beginning of the session the server saves the fact that you joined. then leave to go to a new server and if you return to the first server before the first server restarts then your guy makes sounds when you login to stop ghosting. after restart the server deletes the list and starts over

i know the mouse is more accurate but i am no good with the keyboard and you only need the buttons to fight and interact on the controller you can use the keyboard for all the other things. it makes it easy for close quarter fighting. the only thing about the controller and xpadder is the sticks do not return to the center properly and the dead zone on the sticks needs to be big or the mouse cursor will move across the screen on its own. and it is doing something to the select gear option when i bind swing axe to the trigger and i cannot bind lean right to the right bumper because the map is set there and i cannot move the map the last bit is just me looking for help if anyone knows how to fix it

how is it a pussy move it is not like you can see where they are. you might play for hours looking for someone and not know you are the only one on the server and that will make a shit experience. what i think is a pussy move at least for this type of game is team speak if it is not part of the game like walkie talkies it is a cheat. i bet hackers say everyone else dose it so it is ok. team speak is the in game equivalent to telepathic abilities where no players can hear you except your friends. the player list is needed. Maybe on some hardcore servers they can remove it but most servers should keep it

i can raise the weapons with the keyboard i do not mind that but after i rase it i cannot swing it. i think that is not set for the xbox controller it should be the same as shooting RT but it is not

i can raise the weapon i just can not use it and what is wrong with the spelling of malay and why did you not tick the third option on the first question . and i have no problem with players who use a keyboard just the tools that like to make smart comments :)

if you want the game to be more real you do not have to look at the player list but it is nice to have the player list so you know that you are not running around playing with your self :D

some players like the lee enfield and you will find WW2 guns all over the world mainly in the USA Germany and Russia so it makes sense to find them there and more ww2 gear from all sides like ww2 helmets - canteens - compass - gas masks - med kit bags - and mess tins for cooking. canteens and mess tins can fit together to save space and you can make a penny stove from 2 cola cans and use medical alcohol and petrol as fuel for it

there is a glitch where some shots can not be heard even if the gun was shot next to you. dayz sa is full of sound glitches but the last server i was killed on when i got the YOU ARE DEAD message for no reason was empty so i was not sniped. there is the stairs glitch but you need to be on the metal stairs for that to kill you i do not know if it is any stairs. so far i only heard of it happening on the metal stairs + the walking through walls glitch where you fall of the building and you never see it happen but you need to be moving for that to happen. i was standing still in the middle of the room looting and sorting my gear for some time my guy was green on everything i was not bleeding or sick there were no zombies no players i just died for no reason and wanted to know if it was a bug so i can make a bug report about it. To everyone who post's clever comments if you do not have something constructive to say about it please stop posting your smart comments just so you can feel good about yourselves.

all bullets in the game except the 22 rounds travel faster than sound but that does not mean you can't hear them and you can take a 22 in the face from 20 ft away and it will not kill you it might knock you out. And for a player with a 22 to snipe a prone player when they are on the tower roof they will need to be 100m away or moor to get a good shot they will have a better chance of killing you if they throw the 22 rifle at you

It happened to me 3 times in the NWAF fire station tower. One time i was walking down the stairs It might have been lag that killed me when i was on the stairs i might of ran through the wall and fell down and it did not show on my screen that is a well known bug but i think this is a different one. Two times i was standing still in the middle of the tower not on the stairs or on the roof when i was killed i do not think they were lag. And the last time i know there were no players on the server. + there is the youtube video where a player is prone on the roof of the tower with a friend he got the YOU ARE DEAD message and his friend did not hear a shot.

i think we are getting a little off topic this is about random YOU ARE DEAD messages in the towers of fire stations not random broken legs on stairs

i know what you are talking about the next life i got after i was killed in the NWAF fire station i broke my legs in the shipwreck at the NE coast i spent two days there waiting for a player to come and help i even jumped servers but not one player showed up and you cannot go up stairs with broken legs vaulting did not work but i got out thanks to a glitch when i fell through the floor then i crauled to the town north of the wreck to look for something to fix my legs i am still there looking 4 days and i still have broken legs If Life knocks you down, get up, throw Life in the mud and kicks its god damn teeth in :D the server normally has lots of players it emptyed when i was on i do not bandit or camp 1 time i was on the stairs when i died the other 2 times i was on the top floor not on the roof and standing still not moving no tight spaces to brake my legs or kill me i was exploring the map and learning the game it is a survival game you know i do not bandit or camp it is easy to camp a town and get killes when you know players go there try going to towns that you do not know and defend yourself from campers that never go aneywhere else but where they feel safe ;)

there were no players on the server i was not sniped i am looking to see if i was right befour making a bug report and the reason why i went up there is the first 2 times were 3 months ago and i did not think it was a bug with the tower at the time the third time i was after playing dayz mod for 2 1/2 months so i did not think about it and i am righting this to let other players know not to go in the tower i think the ground floor is ok but not the tower
