Never killed someone in over 40hrs of playing. Yesterday I played on a HC Server and I saw two guys looting the tents at the NWAF but i prefered to let them go and I past them in a distance. Sometimes I don't want to take the risk to get killed after a long time of collecting and searching. My M4 was more important than two dead guys. ;)

Ghost, you really hang out with the wrong people. :D

From the first minute on we used Teamspeak. So it was quite easy to arrange a meeting point. After spawning every one will search for the most important equipment and after some time we meet there. But it will take some time. Running and looting is nothing that is done in minutes. ;)

Sometimes a suicide button would be very helpfull. ;)

Thanks for your reply, Byrgesen. I am playing it since nearly two weeks now. Not a long time, I know. But I passed the same areas in HC and REG gaming and I think there were less Zombies in REG mode. Thanks for your information.

I played on Hardcore-Servers for the first time. It seems that there are more and faster zombies and they spawn in houses. Is that right? I punched one down and ran away. Looked back and saw the zombie following me extreme fast. I never saw that in the regular version of this game.

I bought this game about three weeks ago after I saw many LP-Videos on youtube. First I tried to start it on a Core2Quad 2.4 with 4GB RAM and a GF9800 (512MB) graphiccard. Anyone knows how to get it run on such a machine? I tried many settings but only with a very low resolution and low textures etc. I was able to "play" it. Then I tried it with a quite new Core i5 3570 but only with a GPU onboard. That brought me nearly the same performance. It was not playable. But I really wanted to play this game. So I ordered a Radeon R7-265 with 2GB. And now I really enjoy this game and I can hardly be without it. ;) Let's go hunting! B)

That's so kind of you, Blern. But remember that one day there is a player shortly behind you. He grabs that unneeded gun filled with your ammo and all of a sudden "You are dead!". I think after that you might think a bit different about this. ;)

Hi there, I am playing Dayz until one week now (24hrs ingame) and since the first minutes I ask myself if it is safe to eat damaged food. What happens after drinking a badly damaged beer or after eating a damaged banana? Is every food that is not rotten ok to eat? Is it just the amount of energy the food gives me that varies? What about a pristine rotten Orange and a badly damaged rotten Orange? Will I get sicker with the damaged one? Thanks for your help! Tony
