Found a couple but none say if it is Xbox only

So I played dayz on pc but I wasn’t very good. I told myself if it came to Xbox one I’d buy it and try it. So for the last few days I been playing and I find it fun and I like being nervous about it. Heck a few times I have spooked myself into running away over a sound I caused on my own. i have played every video game alone, so how do I get over that with this one because I can see a benefit to playing with other people? whats a decent way to learn the map? Should I just start somewhere and just spend time going thru each city one at a time wandering? i have seen one person when I was fresh a few days ago..no one since but I have seen evidence of open doors..where do most people adventure to?

it has been many many years since purchasing a console..I had little interest in anything xbox until maybe a week ago. Been thinking about the x box one x but.. read that dayz might come to the x box eventually this year..so when it does is the x box one the same thing as a x box one x just newer? and can you play games for the x box one on the x box one x? like dayz. played dayz off and on with my pc but it doesnt look great and would like to put some serious time into it if it came to this console.

and not just dayz but whatever game i fancy that week..will it run slow? not load well? i guess i dont see the difference between a usb connection being metal on metal vs an internal hard drive that has a ribbon cable connection making it metal and metal. opinions?

like a few minutes ago i logged out on a ladder at an airfield..i logged out and back in on another server to be in the forest and bleeding. both were public 1st person 3rd person enabled. what am i doing wrong?

which is better at keeping dayz mods up to date? dayz launcher? http://dayzlauncher.com/ dayz commander? http://www.dayzcommander.com/ which of the 2 is just better to use? i also try to use game tracker lite mod. right now i use launcher but what is really comfusing is that when i launch a mod, like right now im interested in dayz origin. i use the launcher to get to origins and it goes to all the servers currently online at that moment..now are all these origin servers? some say epoch and others say overpoch and some really dont say anything except a server name. so are these servers that come up from launching origin all origin maps? also if i load into one map and leave can i load into the next server with the same guy i made2 hours ago? i also notice from lauching any dayz mod i get errors stating that some files arent loaded or arent available and then i get kicked from the server..how do i go about getting those files? doesnt dayz launcher download those files when i click on verify in the mod section. i guess the biggest problem i have is when i launch into regular ol dayz mod and get to the page where i can filter servers that everything is listed..all theses different mods and all these servers. i just want to play regular dayz mod and dayz origin and try to understand everything i am looking when im looking at the server list.

also in my steam list for games i have one that says arma 2 OA beta and arma 2 OA beta obsolete..which is the correct one to have?

kk so i have been downloading all of the mods that come up on the launcher..but yet when i launch from the launcher there are times when the game comes up there are files yet to be downloaded in game or at times i cant get into the game because files are missing..doesnt the launch see files missing and would dl them?

havent played in a few months and am lost all over again. is there a new vanilla server to play on for 3480? i found some threads where a move happened from this game tracker website but that always says no one is on. i havent figured out how to connect to that server, is it still possible and can you explain how? i use to launch games through dayz commander and i cant find us3480 on that either, its listed under my favorites but doesnt launch ever. should i even be using dayz commander anymore? i found a thread saying a patch was released and i should be using steam to launch the dayz mod which i got to work and can see servers. should i now be using that<steam> insted of dayz commander? question about using steam..when i launch arma 2 OA i have to double click it to give me the option of launching without battle eye, if i launch it any other way, a dos window comes up and says it failed to launch and then shuts down. should i be playing without battle eye? if so is there a way to default launching without battle eye? kk tldr. havent played in a few months and am lost all over again. is there a new vanilla server to play on for 3480? i havent figured out how to connect to that server, is it still possible and can you explain how? should i even be using dayz commander anymore? should i now be using that<steam> insted of dayz commander? should i be playing without battle eye? if so is there a way to default launching without battle eye? thx

ok i did see those 2 posts in my searching new question, when it says you can connect with launch options of that ip and port...is that something i do through steam or commander or something else? you wouldnt happen to have a step by step for idiots like me?

weapon on my back, mosin in my hands...check compass which puts my mosin down..i walk off realize i dont have walk back cant find it in the vanicity..server restarts and were done. so the compass what position do i need to be in to see it correctly? i stand and cant see it i kneel and it in my knee i crawl and it works half the time

what i dont understand about this game is the people who get angry when they die.. everything isnt all hunky dory, you play this game for the pvpvz where zombies kill and other players may or may not kill. it doesnt matter if you are fully loaded or brand new and for whatever reason people choose if they want to kill you or not cause thats the rules of the playground. dont like then go back to WoW where you can die all you want.

i have eaten all sorts of vitamins, charcol sticks, ate normal food...how do i cure myself of the sickness?

how come this happens with most servers i join? how come it isnt instant or under 10 seconds? jus curious

so i guess im interested in starting from the beginning with nothing. picked a random game and i had a backpack some flares and badages. ran for a little while till i logged out. next game i got into had me download some files and i started with a gun. is every server different where i will never be able to play the same character with nothing and how do i go about finding servers where i can load that character in without starting a new because i dont want to start a different toon with different stuff? also do i find those same servers through dayz commander or through the filter list in game?

its been a week or so of playing on and off.. i have the basics downs but, i log into empty servers to loot to help me survive. i watch all these videos of how people interact with one another and wish i was already at that point. so, im thinking would i be a stronger character and person if i log in new and never look at where im at or go to places i know has great loot till i happen to come across it? vs. going to a place i know has clothes and food and still not be able to think fast enough what key stroke i should use. how did you start the game?

it does make sense thankyou ok i think this is my final question everything in the version field..if i choose any of the those servers it will be the same character on each correct? same loot same everything?

i just installed the mod a few hours ago and been lost the entire time, sorry for all y not understanding. when you say filter your region thats using dayz commander or the in game server select because i dont see anything on either that say region how bout this hold my hand when you explain it becaus ei am not getting it :)

so i think i would like a little more polished game for dayz than the stand alone.. so there is arma 2 with a dayz mod right? is there a arma 3 with a dayz mod? if so which is the best and which is what more people are playing?

kk thx alot did some reading and went with the arma 2 complete collection, people talking about better graphics so for a few dollars more. thx for the info and help

be in game and start a second instace of the game an dlook at the server list and not be kicked out?
