I know there's no point in ranting about 'bandits', because ranting wont solve anything. It seems as soon as I get some form of gun, I get killed, and I'm not talking M4s etc, because I trying to stay away from military areas to stop being killed. The problem is, I find weapons in small towns. Last life I found a CR527 and a neat little mag to match :) had it for about an hour, but continued to kill zombies with my axe. Then suddenly, BANG! I'm dead. The noise was loud so he was practically behind me. Didn't even shout or talk, just bang. How can I prevent myself from being killed by other players, and how do I find players I can interact with without being shot at?

Oh I already have fraps I was just wondering if DayZ had its own FPS counter

I am aware that rag-doll physics are currently being implemented, but I would like to see some bad-ass kill animations to match! Battlefield had the knife animations, and Skyrim... Skyrim has a ton! And they're becoming increasingly common among games nowadays. DayZ is a zombie apocalypse game... It should reek blood and gore! The current weapon swinging etc makes killing zombies a little boring after a few goes, however I think adding a unique kill animation for each weapon that will trigger say 10-25% of the time you make a kill would really step up the action and gore in the game! A few ideas: - burying a machete or axe into a zombie's cranium! - thrusting a screwdriver into a zombie's eye and into it's brain! - puncturing a hole into a zombie's head with a pickaxe! - smashing the face of a zombie in with a shovel! - clubbing in the side of a zombies head with a pipe wrench! - and finally if the ability to turn around your gun and use the stock as a club, it would be nice to see your character repeatedly smashing in the head of a zombie with a gun stock! Of course all of this wouldn't be complete without perhaps blood that squirts and splashes out and maybe have blood dripping down your screen! Did you know I like gore? Haha I'm getting carried away here... :blush:

Well you can spray paint weapons but how about dying your clothes? Find some clothes dye and you can change the colour of whatever you are wearing! Red dye could turn a white check shirt into a red check shirt, or sandstone/forest green dye to turn your really bright green camping backpack into something that blends in a little more with your surroundings! Also, I'd like to see the ability to spray paint your weapons in a few more colours. As well as black and green, how about slate, brown, sandstone/suede/terracotta, a deep forest green and maybe metallic silver.

I'm in Dolina now. Looked in the two 'medical' buildings and nothing. So I went to look in the police station. My player is now stuck; wedged between a doorway.

Look, I would really appreciate it if someone could fix me or just kill me.... I've been trying to crawl to a town for an hour now, and there probably wont be any morphine there!

Erm...

I have a broken leg after the server glitched and shot me to the ground after I was upstairs in a house, and I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere. Could an admin just terminate my life or maybe fix my leg due to the glitch?

I'm a new player to DayZ and I'm loving the game so far, however I think the zombies require a few changes. 1. Breakable bones and damaged limbs. --- new players like myself struggled to run from zombies now they can sprint and do some sort of supernatural sprint jump. Maybe it could be possible to damage their legs so they would limp or crawl, still chasing you however. 2. Zombies have clothes... --- ...and clothes have pockets! Would be nice to find a zombie with a screwdriver, charcoal, pills or a couple of bullets once in a while. 3. Since when can zombies open doors? --- Zombies are brain dead... it's amazing they can actually walk! But opening doors... unless you could simulated a way for zombies to smash through those little wooden doors. 4. Where are they all at? --- There are a lot of houses in Chernarus, yet so few zombies! Even with 40 people on a server, Chernarus seems empty... Other things I'd like to see. 1. Vegetation --- It would be nice if there were a few apple trees where fallen apples (and rotten ones) could be found. Also maybe potato plants where you have to pull it out the ground. They could be dirty or muddy, and have to be washed with water or at a well. 2. Wooden sticks as weapons. --- Walk through the forests and you may find a big stick that could be used as a club! 3. Bricks --- I see a lot of bricks around. Wouldn't it be nice to smash in the head of a zombie with a brick, or maybe be able to throw bricks at them? (Or players if you're one of them spoil-sport bandits ;) ) 4. Torches --- make some rags, combine it with a stick and some oil. Just light a match and wollah! A torch! Can be used to see at night, or club a zombie in a fiery fashion! Can only be held, dropped, or picked up... can't put one in your pocket cos you know... it's on fire. 5. Open cupboards and wardrobes to find supplies, food, and clothes! 6. TEMPERATURE. --- stay out in the rain too long and you could suffer from hypothermia! Keep moving into buildings or out when it's try to keep your body temperature up! Certain clothes could aid in keeping you warmer for longer. 7. Gun stock club --- haven't got a bayonet or ran out of bullets? That's al-right, just flip your rifle around and maul your foes with it instead! Yay! More blood!
