Micro-transaction would not work without 'levels', 'contact progress' (A.P.B Reloaded), etc. Though hunting the well geared would be fun, take all their shit. Monthly subs wouldn't last, not enough content. Free month + 1 month, then done. Purchase outright would not give incentive for you to develop the game beyond where it is now. Cash flow ceases, next project looms in the mind. So.. micro-transaction and develop a content hierarchy based on grinding, where premium accounts grind faster. Unless you just want to make it free and take the hit on one time cash-flow for a game that is more niche than blockbuster. Tough nut, like saying what should you charge for Minecraft? I would just sell it, and work on your next, bigger, project. You can't tie up human creative resources in Day Z the mod, standalone, and Day Z 2.0 at the same time. This mod has run its course nearly with the current engine, time to evolve the concept into a new virtual reality (better engine ARMA 3.0+?).

Found 45 minutes ago, server is up to date, latest patch. Status was all green, full of fuel parked at end (opposite ATC) of runway closest to Chern. Is this a hack spawn in? Are they officially back? Couldn't believe, it, no one going for it on a nearly full server unless it just spawned? Have video on my phone of me flying down coast, posted* on youtube. Weird.

Was driving the blue Solnichniy van away from Cherno and while driving past the barns near the treeline I started getting artillery round falling all around me, dozens. I was moving faster than running but still slow, my van went from full green to orange. I disconnected. I moved to the treeline on another server to return to 394 and see what the hell was going on. I return, the buildings are up but a shitload of dirt is in the air, similar to when a chopper crashes, which I have seen. I wait and watch, van is gone, no hulk, just missing. I see a survivor with an axe through my binocs, he goes into the barn, BOOM, instead of the multi-smaller arty rounds, this is one HUGE explosion, Jon is Killed it said. Then all the buildings collapse, with the final building (red roof barn) fucking collapsing. HUGE secondary explosion, fireballs. I took a screenshot and when i ctrl+v it in Paint my paste was all black. Anyways, very strange, it was only Prig, if he could of seen where all players are I do not know why the hacker who clearly was still present did not also bomb me? Maybe it was LOS bound? He was along the tree line somewhere? FUCKING WEIRD. BTW, Jon if you read this. What did you even experience? Did you just fall over dead like you were sniped?

their names are: Lance, Hunter, and Omfguser. I deff killed hunter and omfguser in the jeep. The guy who killed me is Lance. These were the first people back in the server when it went up. Jeep wreckage gone, my body gone, their bodies gone, I respawned Prig and ran to spot, so they couldnt of gotten there any faster than me, and the server went down 60 s after I died.

Then the server goes down right away. Could this be Admin abuse with the temp. disable of Battleye? Want their URAL Jeep back? They ALL had ghiliies, I believe they stayed in the car thinking they could not die but did when the car blew up, and the third just hopped out right away.

This is the upper echelon hacks. He had zero LOS on me, he fucking dropped arty on me I bet.

Texas 38, another hacker. I have NEVER run into hackers until tonight, and twice within an hour on two different servers, newest patches. URAL jeep driving off the powerlines behind Prig. I put a clip into it, it blows up, 2 people died including a guy named Hunter. Sniper emerges from on fire wreck, in a ghillie with the distince as50 gun sound. I light him up, 240 belt, put 20 into him, he turns fire at me, misses. I run into woods. This is some shit. Careful dudes.

Honestly I would be ok with a reset after each major patch. My group is all sitting on NVG, GPS, rangeflnders, top tier weapons, tents on 4 servers, vehicles on 2 servers. All within map boundaries which is why its down from like 8 vehicles. A reset will allow us all to get a clean "mad rush", it would be fun, I guess when you know there is no thrill of gear on the horizon because you took it all from bandits/survivors. Something else that might be interesting, make vehicles refuel at pumps, or at least be by the fuel drums you fill your jerry cans at. That would make for a lot more potential 'contact'. And this is where the rush comes in, the fear of losing what you have, the excitement and anticipation of stalking others.

Quick question, I did not glean through all 18 pages. What constitutes "out of bounds". Like we have some stuff off the loot maps just slightly for example, but not off the in game map. For example coords of 12, 160, would that be off map? That is a example people don't get excited. Is offmap when its like not even reading on a GPS? Never tried this personally, but I heard if you go out far enough all the textures go away and its a flat rolling hills with no trees or something.
