Well, there are two common types of bans out there. VAC - which is steam related and Battleye. Each of those must be solved individually either by steam or BE. Bohemia's official statement was that they are not banning personally. If you think its otherwise then i suggest to write a ticket in their feedback platform, which is here: https://feedback.bistudio.com/project/view/2/ Its more direct approach since these forums here are being partially neglected.

DO Not Shrink the Slots in Clothes in Update 1.26!!!

To achieve that you must install offline server and some bootleg version of the game on it. You can play your favourite version - alpha included - exactly the way you want it to be. And never move forward. -

No one likes? That's a lie. On this very board there are people who like the idea of reducing slots (including me) and people who dislike that. Let's be at least semi-objective, ok? And so what that some servers will have to make adjustments? Its always like that for server owners. Always was. You new? -
It's time to present this already old invention to the vanilla. To make it consistent. Sleeping feature must use day & night cycle. Sleeping in shelter allows to fully rest while sleeping beneath random tree during heavy rain gives nothing but flu and pneumonia. Player can be tired to the point of losing consciousness. Boosting rested-stat needs some thinking; it mustn't be like in mods where player can just cheat it with a few soft drinks / adrenaline shots. I would make it so chems give some percentage but only to certain degree. Snoring is debatable - i would not implement it "just because" but rather rig it with player's health - especially when one has problems with lungs. Sleeping allows for more tactical approach and slows gameplay down. Its also perfect for any roleplay. PVP heroes will hate it - which is even better.

What's with you guys and this wipe business? Its only normal for these things to happen - especially when presented changes are design & security related. Bases and items within a game are worth nothing - only relations can stood the test of time. Not to mention that vanilla is so damn easy when it comes to loot gathering that eventual "weight loss" does not sting at all. Time? Playing is mostly a waste of it you like it or not.

.. is too big. Such enemy can even damage equipment that player wears on his head. How? Logically speaking lying npc should only be able to attack up to waist and with great difficulty. Range needs to be adjusted and also movement speed. I'd say that crawling infected are way more annoying than normal ones.

I got you the rules you accepted before playing - you can talk about them with BIs lawyers. Now i'm gonna tell you something from the heart since you're interested in my standing. I don't care about all that problems with "image". Its all worth nothing; People waste their time trying to protect their meaningless egos because they truly believe its worth something. They think they're special and need tools to protect that because they themselves are weak and powerless. The problem of "rights" of walking, talking pile of bones. If someone steals your work - the thing that allows you to buy food, warmth and security - then its worth fighting for. Because its about life and death. But if we're talking about performance of a clown - in a petty video game - then why bother wasting time? Let the clown be a clown. -
Zagoria is dead - population was reduced into infected monsters. Its a survival of the fittest setting. If you cannot find a single vehicle on vanilla then you're not in the fittest group. Its just a fact. Personally ive seen servers where spawns of certain items were reduced to almost nothing - and still managed to get what i needed. Its all about the need and time you have. You want luxuries when world is shot. It only makes sense that you need to be fast and thorough to accomplish that. Youre saying that you won't play unless certain things will happen. I was just like you in the past. Childish. Also take a look at private servers, with plethora of options to choose from. That's the game youre looking for. You will find everything youve listed here. And more. Because people design their own visions of "DayZ" all the time. Visions that may steal from you much more than petty 350 hours. The usual "fee" of this game is about 2k hours. People with 5k are common. 10k is nothing special.

"(...)Like with certain TV programs, where they film unaware citizens to play pranks: to broadcast those videos they MUST ask for "release", that is, written permission from the interested parties, otherwise they cannot broadcast the video in public.(...)" - you are mixing two different things to make a point. In-game you're borrowing already existing assets to play. You're a client not an owner. You don't need to use your voice at all; Interaction is completely optional - not like in real world. There is nothing original by default that you could call "individual" and fight for it in a court of law. "Content creators" always use something to "create" their content - in this case "DayZ". But they cannot do that without consent of the studio: "Your Rights You may play and use the game for non-commercial purposes only. You may create footage (screenshots and videos) of the game and share it online (e.g. on YouTube or Twitch). We reserve the right to take down such footage in case it shows or promotes hacking, cheating or any other distasteful, obscene or unlawful behavior. We give You permission to make money (e.g. advertisement revenues) from this footage, but only if You add enough of Your own content (for example commentary) to the footage which would justify it" Besides that there is also a rule that you - as "DayZ" user - already accepted: "User-created Content If You create any content ("content") using the game or make it available through the game, You may do so, but there are rules. This content must not infringe anyone's copyrights or author rights, it must not be offensive to people or illegal in any other way. For the benefit of the entire User community, You give us an irrevocable permission to use, copy, modify and adapt anything You create using Our game and share with other Users of Our game in multiplayer or as an online download (including but not limited to in-game objects or terrain composition). You also agree that We allow other people to use, copy, modify and adapt Your content under the terms of this license." https://www.bohemia.net/community/licenses/dayz-end-user-license Of course you can go to the court of law if you feel that your rights were abused but there really is no basis for that. The only thing you actually lose in-game is time. And its your decision as well. -

So you're just angry that some people found a way to make money like that? I understand - i really do. But that's it. Streaming is not as perfect as you say. Most streamers are nobodies. You need years of creativity to carve something for yourself - to become memorable for masses, viewers, people who don't care either way. And then you might still need to do "honest hard work" IRL because without that your balance will be all red. People think that streaming is easy but most of them never ever tried doing that. You need patience, a character, voice, something to say, equipment, programs, sufficient internet connection and platforms, knowledge how to use all that... Few streamers managed, i'd say that very few. Few are on full time mode. Most are doing secondary (yet main) work IRL to stay afloat. People - normal players - lose nothing by default when being recorded. Its their individual decision to interact with others and become an actor, volunteer really. You don't need to play in any show unless its a strict PVP situation. Then you kill or become a victim. -

give him some slack - not everyone know english well enough to understand figures of speech. And there's nothing wrong about that. Just to keep things clear: we say that someone digged himself a grave when ones words/doings are working against him; when one tries to accomplish something but only manage to hurt himself/his case in the process. -
Leave it, but why? So far people came up with only one reason for it: hoarding. Having as much items and as low stamina as humanly possible :).

Something like that... -
There's "feedback" option in a top menu here which leads to the feedback platform. Create a topic there, describe exactly when crashing occurs; is it when you're staring game or logging in and if then where and with what, is it modded or not - all the details. Also don't forget to attach your log file. This 0xCxxx error is not that simple so support group should take a look at it first.

"(...)The concept is clear now: I DO NOT want ANYONE to be able to make money using me and my game!!!!!" - one day you'll say something similar about your government and start a revolution. -
There's another way to deal with cheating. Just don't do it. Don't cheat, people. Game is super easy - there really is no point in making it easier :).
-
I concur - this would be very sensible addition to the game.

Image rights? Based on what? Players can choose their avatar before spawning - there are only few for each gender available. It's a pre-defined data that people borrow for themselves. A world filled with clones really. Then maybe voice? Well! A lot of people don't use mics at all - especially on pvp servers. Then you have microphone users but how many of them can tell with certainty that devices and programs they're using are not modifying their original voices in the slightest? We can go deeper and talk about personalities, souls. Good luck with that. Its a journey where different courts will tell you different things and that may lead to something more, law maybe. And of course respected only locally. My opinion is this: game gives us freedom that we cannot have in real world because other people can get hurt - especially their egos. It's a game. A game to play. Lets not take it too far. People control their interactions. They can do a lot more to defend themselves in-game. That would be it. -

That's why i didn't react to the opening post. I don't care about that. Calling people "parasites" tipped the scale though for that was too generic. For me this is a game, public place where different interactions can happen. If one needs privacy then its better to stay away from other people i'd say. -

I'm saying that aggressive streaming, the one that gets too far can be cut down in a game immediately. But these are rare happenings - most cases are quite invisible for other people. Its not a problem at all. I'd say that stream sniping is more dangerous because its easy to get caught in a crossfire; i've personally seen multiple cases where streamers were hunted down by stream snipers and cheaters. I've talked with people who were doing that and must say that in most cases they were crazy - literally nuts. This is all plankton - different organisms drifting together. Its better to accept that diversity in-game and survive that as well. -

Live and let others live and if they're bringing harm to you or your family then end them, if you can. This is a public, survival game, so the only judge is you and yourself. Its way worse IRL where some people garner attention by hook and by crook and use their lens as justification for everything they do. -
Lore says that these people are special in their own way - immune towards sickness that turned local population into this: We don't know what kind of people are they and why they all spawn on the coast. What we do know is that there are masks to be found - not only to help with bad weather.
