That's because it's Gunter. Das Auto. But really... It depends on the server and how many people from around the world are on it.

"Build Anywhere" mod is essential to build anything decent either way.

It only tells me that vanilla servers are natural habitats for losers armed with scripts. No admins, no sufficient security tools, no rules at all - like why even bother staying there?... People should just play on private servers - and no, i'm not saying that all of them are great. Some of them are - with active admins, tested settings - stuff good enough to stay.

Well, there is one. Cheaters. But thankfully it's being fixed.

Cars are a must in this game. There is a time for jogging, time for running, sneaking and for driving as well. Simple joy of a ride - additional layer of pleasure while playing. btw. those guys weren't Japanese but Chinese. btw2. it's always happening while modding; "TESV"' is a prime example; If it can be done it will be done; Because why the hell not. ps. last vid... He was talking smack and was punished by "DayS" gods.

? It's a world ruled by infection and infected. Why would you fight them without getting at least some foothold first?... I personally had no problem with how vanilla currently works. Just don't try to fight unless it's absolutely necessary. Use only clean bandages on your wounds - never rags. And that's pretty much it. Have some patience and you'll find everything you need on your way. Last time I was playing on modded vanilla and it had "virus" installed. That was a bitch... For you were forced to craft a cure again and again and again. But vanilla itself? It was a breeze.

hell no... No tips&tricks in "dayz". it's a survival game for pete's sake, which means live and learn with your own neck on the line. tetra may spawn in hospitals, clinics, medical tents and any other place with medic/hygiene flags. If i correctly remember even some infected may have it. oh! and you can kill/raid just for that as well. -
The sign said "20". That's what they get for speeding.

Absence of night vision will not change facts. People don't like to use flashlights and alike just because it makes them vulnerable to other players - especially with how light is currently bugged. I'm talking about all that glitching and problem with distance. "(...)but also it will always be a lose-lose situation to play at night or go loot military places if you don't have them...(...)" - If people are scared of operating at night then they should stay in their beds.

Some private servers are using statistics and make contests based on those numbers. Maybe that's the reason.

So it's a suicide then. It's peoples decision. If you want points for killing others in a survival game then good luck with that for it will not happen.

Wring out your clothing from rain water and after swimming. Look for best insulation. Waterproof clothing is also a nice thing to have.

not exactly invisible. Roads, railways or bridges were matched together but in some places these elements are not perfectly connected. Some are elevated more than others (bridge in front of a factory for example). And this difference was just enough to become a serious problem in some scenarios. The biggest hole was located in front of a prison island.

no need for rocket fuel - no wonder that space tourism is getting more popular each day!

https://dayz.fandom.com/wiki/Cholera "(...)Drinking from contaminated Plastic Bottles and Canteens used by players already infected with Cholera.(...)" - it's about that possibility, which is real. Was in that situation way too many times myself. From plastic bottles (vanilla) to plastic barrels (modded).

no? or at least it wasn't like that. Collision is different outside the borders - vehicle will not get any traction and will get stuck in the ground eventually.

Hi there, 1 - depends on a loot table. Custom servers can do a lot of things to it. 2 - terminated npcs are treated similar to a ruined items - as soon as player leaves area they will disappear. Of course when server resets these things are purged as well. When you find remains of infected it's certain that there is or was other player in vicinity.

Is everyone on the already small community of psn server just toxic people?

It's the usual scenario 😛 Less people there are, the bigger the chance of making contact. I have a buddy that played on a last day right before the wipe of 1.09 - he and some other dude. He likes to travel and make friends on the road - a really nice guy overall. And of course he met the other player, on NWAF. Like i've said, it was the last day, my buddy is as friendly as one can possibly be... He was shot to death pretty much immediately. He only managed to say "Hi!". He was not a challenege, since he was stuck on ladder. The killer gained nothing from it. Nothing at all. Some people don't care. -
Currently there is no need to cleanse any water container by default - unless... Unless the user was sick. In that scenario container must be disinfected.

😆 and it happened with the car standing still... If that gate opened by some remote chance, then it would be even worse. It's another problem with physics - how doors work. Opening/Closing animations are absolute - they will move anything in their way and if it can't be moved, then the door will pass through obstacle - be it players, npcs or vehicles. There is a slight difference though... Vehicles are usually destroyed in the process.
-
True - we don't know anything about water containers. We just pick them up from the ground. These things need to be cleansed first. And just as McWendy suggests, we need this range right on a mark. Infected attack with their arms, so range should be as long.

"DayS" is a survival game - it's about staying alive when everything around you wants you dead. It's not about being friendly on a "military air field" - for we call that naive. If you're looking for a buddy in game such as this then private servers are a way to go, with their own discord channels and such. You need to talk to people before you meet them in a game. Build your person and sell it to the public. Otherwise it's a gamble. Unnecessary one. And many people are sore losers. They don't like to die. I had also thought that by talking to others - in game - i could initiate long lasting relations. 5k hours later and that never happened once. Through discord - yes, an entire list of contacts and a clan. You need to have a foundation when you start building big. VOIP is only good for small things and some of the encounters. Chances of building through are slim at best. It's how it is nowdays - more clients involved. -
