Hell no. Toxic zones must have some risk to them. No additional clothing - it's not a place meant for loot hoarding. Besides! We don't know what kind of gas that is - it does not kill animals or infected.

Play on private modded servers with active admins - you'll quickly discover that vanilla offers so little options that playing on it is simply a waste of time. Public servers will never ever ever change in aspect of security. Being an admin is a job 24/7 - nobody will do it for free and Bohemia is already cutting corners. And don't let me start talking about creating local anti-hacking device - for that is even bigger pipe dream.

Areas such as these had to happen eventually. All because of NBC that was utterly useless for years. You couldn't ask survivors to wear NBC all the time simply because infected could infect them in a heat of battle... So another way to use suits had to be implemented - and then toxic zones happened in modding section. Problem solved itself; It's cheap, but it's something.

"Fallout" has zeds based on fungus and it works. In fact it's very convincing because in reality it is possible, but in different scale. Who said that zombies must be an evil creation of a necromant? Well, whatever Disney/Marvel did it's propably garbage. It's their main product lately.

If it's lore thing then it makes sense - gassing towns in hope of killing all those nasty infected. It's not about level of equipment but rather about sweeping. Testing as well.

So many vids in this topic so why are you even asking? It's about certain mechanism. About flying, about digging into the ground or spinning like a ballerina. About things that cars usually won't do. In my years in this game vehicles were always problematic. Sure it's fun to drive them but "losing control" usually means that any interaction with vehicle - in specific situations - may end it all. Car's life, user's life - time and effort. It may be THE reason why bicycle, why dirtbike and why plane are not in the game right now.

Yes, we need radiation on a map. Radioactive zones with harder npcs and better loot. Who needs radios when everything is radioactive?

No choppers in current vanilla. Some mods have them but that's it. Personally i don't think that flying machines are a viable option for a map as small as South Zagoria although there were some concepts in game files. (https://dayz.fandom.com/wiki/Crop_Duster_Airplane & https://dayz.fandom.com/wiki/MH-6_Little_Bird ).

That is a fact - these are narrow old fashioned roads - basically for horse carriages and agricultural equipment. A bit of asphalt won't change them into freeways all of the sudden.

We all spawn in this cold world with a few items and a certain set of skills that can be used to live through another day. Ain't that an advantage already?... To know how to execute everything flawlessly, to not waste effort and materials on learning... A crutch for all. If it was me, i would give fresh spawns absolutely nothing. Empty pockets. And these spawns would not be healthy at all. I would transform them into survivors of a shipwreck that barely made it to the shore. That would eliminate all those clowns that can only run towards military loot, all those heroes which try to kill anything in their sight as soon as they start. I would make people suffer so they could appreciate little things - like the fact they're still alive when most common people are dead. But that scenario needs a lot of features this game currently don't have. It's a game - so there should be a prospect of development for all survivors to see. To achieve something more than just a box full of items. To feel that playing - even solo - has something to it. Maybe a reason.

Nothing wrong about that. Lost count of how many times these things took me by surprise... They made it that way so driving would not be a suicide mission (camping bandits...) but it still stinks. Old cars, loud engines, empty roads - it should generate a lot of noise - especially when speeding & brakes are involved...

There is a common ground though... You hear both engines and shots when it's too late ;p.
