I do agree and not saying i wont die but as of yet i have not. Couple of good scares though :) And me and my m4 get all cuddly while waiting for whoever was shooting at us to come inside to check gear :D

i do engage alot. I just use what i know and don't die. Yeah i get hurt to the point of grey screen but if you use your head instead of going in spraying like some 12 year old on CoD then you'll be alright.

Completely agree! I use my infantry training every day, doesn't matter if im clearing a house or hugging a wall while looking into windows (i run 3rd person when doing this). I stick to the shadows while other people rush about like crazy people. I have not died one single time from confrontation with another survivor. I've died from fat fingering the keyboard and glitching off ladders though. But not a single death from other players. So i would have to say yes, military training, formations, etc. Do work and are highly effective.

my only story is this. I was in the building next to the power plant on the coast. Fresh spawn trying to get away from a zed. Was beginning to climb down the ladders when i look over and theres a guy standing there i stand up and we both wave. i crouch back down as he starts doing the "Friendly dance" (as i call it). So i go to stand up and return the gesture. Well c=v and i ended up leaping over the railing falling 3 stories to my death. And all i hear is.."ugh...dude....you alright mate?"

Completely died laughing at this last night and woke my wife up. Anyway i wouldnt say there is no such thing as friendly. I've encountered a few people on my endeavours and the first guy just ran past. Second guy ran past shot a zombie that was chasing me and dissappeared into the night. (Thanks random stranger!). Third guy i met him at the power station while i was going down the ladders trying to get away from a super aggro zombie. He waved, I waved, He danced i went to stand up...Hit "V" on accident and hoped the railing falling to my death. Moral of that story is to not hit 2 keys at once lol. But i havent really met an aggressive player as of yet. Hope i dont, Have a lot of good gear. -Jedi
