  1. Info: We are a group of 6 players that are primarily bandits but we are willing to accept heroes. Our group has a teamspeak and a origins server that we play on every day. Our group has played together since dayz was first in alpha. We all live in different time zones (CST, EST, PST.) We normally play from 5pm - 12am CST on weekdays and all day on weekends. We all play different roles within the group we don't require anyone to play any specific role instead we freestyle and play whatever we want as long as we have a good balance of firepower. Our playstyle is flexible since we each play differently but we always communicate with the group our positions and enemy positions. We have done stealth tactics, run and gun tactics, ambushes, and distractions/draw fire for others. We aren't a full pvp group instead we scavenge for our supplies and when we get tired of that we look for trouble. If we see an enemy we evaluate the situation and go in for the kill but we don't rush in blindly. Requirements: Must be 18+ years or older Must have a mic and TS Must be team oriented Must be prepared for pvp, it happens Respect the members please Must be an active member Only accepting US players If you run with us, don't run with anyone else outside the group. We will think you left us. Contact info: Steam: JoshClay Standard procedure: Contact me on steam and I will ask you a couple of questions to get to know you. After that you will run with us on a prohibition period (length differs.) If all goes well the group will vote on the final decision. General Rules: Whatever you kill you loot unless you want to donate to the group. Vehicles are shared by the group. Don't abuse this by wrecking them or going solo in anything that can seat more than two players (Unless told otherwise by the group.) We share vehicle parts and house mats, yet we are self proficient. So don't be selfish if a group member needs a part/material or two. Listen Closely and Think. Don't rush blindly into a fight.
  2. Me and a friend are looking for US players to group with for DayZ. We both have working mics.
  3. Server hoppers don't connect to the same server they connect to multiple servers so waiting to connect to the same server wouldn't stop them.
  4. How about restricting people to playing on servers in their country so as to prevent server hopping to EU for day/night? Because too often I notice on nighttime servers NVG bandits server hopping starry and Northwest Airfield. With it being restricted servers would be more populated to prevent this since no more server hopping to daytime servers.
  5. Out of bounds is pretty much an exploit there isn't anything for you to do out there.
  6. I completely agree with this since I'm in a bandit group.
  7. In a post apocalyptic world where the surviving population is survivors and bandits which do you think is going to be more populated? Bandits of course, evil has always been more enticing in every scenario, limiting or penalizing this real life scenario ruins the immersion.
  8. No Even when there were bandit skins innocents would end up getting them from self defense.
  9. A week ago I died whilst trying to storm a fire station in elektro and got too greedy ended up dead. I respawned on the east coast I proceed to town to die because my friend is on oppossite side of the map and I got the worst spawn. I get there and hear makarov fire coming from the street I'm thinking this is a perfect time to test something I aggro every zombie in town and proceed running until I see the guy. He books it seeing the horde of zombies behind me I continue following until he prones. I run around him smacking every zombie I have behind me straight into him he was dead in 2 seconds I ran out of their and lost the aggro. I didn't think it would work but I laughed like crazy.

    1.5.7 update

I am waiting too many zombies for scarce ammo and forcing you to go to hospital more often. Anyone that thinks this many zombies will stop banditry your wrong because its still running rampant maybe even worse. At night there are way more flares and lights now due to so many zombies and day I presume you'd just have to wait with a sniper and shoot anyone that enters buildings to fight zombies.
  11. I also had the OP's bug but a little different I had accidentally dropped my coyote backpack from lag and it instantly disappeared until like 2-3 minutes later it reappeared where I dropped it.
  12. Yeah switching weapons from backpack usually makes one weapon disappear for me. I normally drop my equipped weapon and equip my backpack weapon and quickly store the dropped weapon before I get a drop bug where it disappears.
  13. Me and a couple of my friends were talking about the engine and one of my friends brought up the unreal engine. Imagining DayZ on unreal engine would be awesome.
