I downloaded Arma 2: CO from steam, and I opened it. I downloaded six updater suite or whatever... but when I try and play it says I don't have the DayZ files? Could someone please help :/

It didn't work D: I still have unverified files :/... Do I have to reinstall Arma CO? >.<?

ok yeah, I will do that also ^^ ok hopefully this will fix :) thank you both.] Edit: 1 file not validated on Arrowhead >.< does that mean I have to uninstall and redownload arrowhead? Edit:Edit: Silly me, steam went ahead and fixed it for myself. Thank you Death :D I think it will work now.

okay umm, I think it might work this time, I launched updater six straight from my desktop earlier but I clicked all programs and under updater six it asked me to check for updates and I did so. Hopefully this will work :) Thank you both :)

wait a minute... do you mean download updater six? When I click download DayZ it wants me to download updater six...? one second... going to see if I was being an uber nuber and missed something lol. I get an option to use SWE mirror or a DE mirror... the recommended option is using updater six... and when I downloaded that I assumed when I clicked server and it did all that installing I thought those were the files and i would just be able to play :/ Or... am I missing something?

I'm not getting the error, I think that part was fixed... but it kicks me out and brings me to the arma 2 homescreen if you can call it that... but where you get the menu choices of singe player, multiplayer, options/settings and all that kind of stuff.

Yes I've done all that :). But I get into the game and I join a server... I get past the Receiving mission or whatever, but when I get to receiving data it gets quite a ways then kicks me out :/... I will try doing everything again. But :/ idk... maybe my computer isn't good enough: 2nd generation Intel® Core? i3-2350M Processor 6GB SDRAM RAM 640GB 5400RPM Hard Drive 17.3-Inch Screen, Intel HD Graphics 3000 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit :/ hopefully that's good enough as I just got this laptop >.<

I have done the said :/ I will retry it though. EDIT: Also is there a way to not use updater six :/? If I can get even that to work it would be fine I guess :/ but it seems almost like a nuisance.
