Lol, your computer just isn't compatible for it, and honestly your not in the big cities, cherno, elektro, and stary sabor are nice loot places. Even Kamenko has loot places, your just in some random town. Also Balota and NE airfield are nice, the NW airfield is a PvP hotspot. Honestly, I cannot run 20 mins in any direction (except the debug forest) without finding loot. Try putting your settings on very low to try and fix the blurry effect, although if dayz gets ported to arma 3, idk how well your comp will hold out.

alright thanks, I was hoping I'd be able to do it ingame without an external program :/ as I have no problem on low/medium I usually use low or very low just to make sure I don't lag at all ;P. But I heard this talk about DayZ being ported to Arma 3... and I was wondering how that would effect my fps :/

LOL guys... the zeds are SO predictable, I don't see why they NEED to be changed. Sure they are fast... But they are also predictable. But I would like to know how to "lose" zeds, honestly I always end up having to shoot them ^^.

I believe on recruit servers and ONLY recruit servers there should be a starting weapon, make it weak and have little ammo... but just enough to take out zeds around a deerstand to get that first weapon. You people that don't want a starting weapon can just go elsewhere :/ I think you might be suprised at how full the recruit servers will be, and how long the waiting list will be. So maybe even recruit + regular. Most people on the forums are the seasoned players who can easily get a weapon without getting zeds aggro.

I agree ^^ a crowbar or a hatchet. Something that wouldn't be easy to pvp with. Or the weakest gun there is but... whatever.

LOL I hope you'd still be labeled as a bandit, because you are basically killing them. (taking all their stuff) I'd rather spawn near cherno so I can easily get some stuff back.

It's a good thing you guys started with a weapon when you first started isn't it ^^, but this isn't for me, it's for the noobs. I am well set, I have an M16... which i know I will lose, and I know i can regain. Or atleast have noobs start out with a hatchet or something ^^. I wouldn't go into the middle of an apocalypse without a weapon.

oops... I didn't realize you said Arma 2... not Dayz... But if you did mean dayz... then Arma free has higher fps then DayZ... I think... cause I haven't tested it I can't be 100% for sure... but from what I've read on these forums I believe that is the case. -
Just wondering... but do you have to loot for the ammo to a helicopter, I noticed it has a mounted gun... or is that gun just for looks ;P?

Ehm... I've heard this talk about hacked vehicles, how do I tell if a vehicle is hacked? Also, are admins able to see where I stow away a vehicle? As I was told admins help their friends get vehicles -.- and I don't want mine stolen... if i do get one.
