    Environment wishlist

    Draisines There could be one on each server. The position of the draisine could be where ever the last player, that used it, left it. Just a movable object with needs to players to operate. This could be an interesting object because it should usually attract players, which makes the area, where the draisine is located, more dangerous, even though it's not a city. Maybe the draisine could be found at a certain place after a server restart.

    Kicking

    Kicking zombies down the hill would be fun too Or just to get some extra time to grab a weapon if a zombie surprises you. The kick could be a bit like a defensive move to buy some time in any close combat fight (like in Chivalry Medival Warfare, if somebody plays that)

    "Draisine" is the work you are looking for. I would love to see those in the game, there couldbe one on each server. So it's location would depend on where the last player left it.

    Some RP items and 'minigames'

    I'd love to have Vodka in the game, the actual use for it could be to use it for desifection (like tincture), plus an option "drink" to get drunk just for the heck of it and then the character can't walk straigt anymore and will stumple around instead of walking straigt. That would add a lot of pointless fun :D Funny addon the status bar (where it sais thirsty, healthy, etc) could say drunk, and drinking too much will make the character puke...

    Usage of both hands

    I thought about that too. Especially about a gun in each hand, that would be a hell lot of fun. :D Or dual close combat weapons, I really would like to swing two axes around my head B)

    Make DayZ more intense/more thoughtful

    The funny thing is, I save ammo rather for players that using it on zombies. Another player with a weapon can kill me 100 times faster than a zombie, so I rather want to prepared for that, than using my last bullets on a stupid zombie, which can be killed faily easy without bullets. So I don't think reducing ammo would have an effect on players killing each other, it will just make them use less ammo on zombies. And if I go into areas with a lot of zombies I usually find enough ammo to use it on zombies too. Nevertheless I support the idea with less ammo, because after looting an airfield I usually have so much ammo that I search for zombies just to kill them for fun.
  8. I would like that feature too. But I'm not sure whether they just forgot it or didn't want it, would assume the first though.

Hi, What about the idea that the maximum (or general) running speed is depending on the cloth and the ammount of equipment? - Sport shoes, running shorts, t-shirts, etc. could improve the running speed - All the equipment has a certain weight, and the character gets slower depending on the carried weight - Rubber boots are also not good for running, so they should slow down too - The bigger the backpacks get the slower you can run All these things are just my personal experience from the real world, so they would give the game a more realistic touch and make the choice of equipment different.
  10. That could be really awesome, you could either be like a heavy player, fully equipped with very good weapons and stuff like this or go more into the fast moving scount direction, with weaker weapons and less equipment but more agility in total.

  12. Yeah, if there's a stamina system and the carried weight would have an impact on stamina, that would be so awesome. It also gives players that just spawned an advatange to players wo are already fully equipped because they can run away from them easier.

    Hi, A very simple idea, when you go through forests, fields or bushes, there could be a chance that you scare some birds, which are then flying up in the air, telling other players, someone is there. The chance of "scaring the birds" could increase with the running speed or the number of people walking together. It would be realistic if the chance is really high, when a gun is fired, since that should scare birds away if some are nearby. This would make it more difficult to hide and add a difficulty to sneaking past other players. Plus this requires new movment tactics near corwded areas like airports or larger cities. Or this just simply could alarm you that other players are nearby. EDIT: This should also be affected by other sources such as zombies or animals. (Thanks Sacha) Here an example (thanks orlok):

    Usable Stove in a House

    Hi, The idea, the stove in the house could be usable; sometimes there could be enough gas left in the house system, so that the stove is still working. So if you have matches or something like this you can egnite the stove and start cooking. What do you think?

    Missions and meaning in the game

    The point I was trying to say is, that the missions should be included into the game in a way that you don't really realize it's a mission, rather than you think, wow this world is fascinating. What I reffered to as "not realistic" would be someting like "go to place x, and and do thing y", which is how most missions in computer games look like I hope you understand what i'm trying to say.

    Usable Stove in a House

    Since there are gas containers outside of the houses sometimes, I was assuming some were running on gas ;)
  18. Additionally vehicles are coming up, which makes running speed in the late game (when you have lots of stuff) less important.
  19. Hi, What about if cupboards, closets, fridges, etc could be opened? This could be useful for: - Hiding in a closet, especially interesting if you hear somebody else enter the house. It could be like, you are standing in front of a clauset where you can hide, and then an usable option like "hide in clauset" could pop up. - Fridges and cupboards could contain food (even though fridges are not working, it's more usual that people left thier food there)

    Missions and meaning in the game

    I totally agree with you but since this game tries to simulate real life as much as possible, a mission would not be "realistic". Maybe a mission could me something like a global event that happens on the server which forces everyone to do something (which is the mission then). This could also force players to move to some hotspots on the map, which makes it even more interesting because then you'd also have to fight or avoid (or sometimes team-up) with other players. Another idea is that certain places of the map provide missions. If you go there something like a KI-Player begs you for help to retrieve something.

    Accesible Cupboards / Closets

    That's exactly why I came up with this idea PS: that's just my bad english :P That's probably where it get's tricky, how to design the hiding feature. It shouldn't be something people search anyways because they could find some items there, but it should be something where you find somebody hiding if you are searching for someone. Something like a small gap where you can see whether there is somebody in the closet. If the closet is empty the option "hide" should show up and it not the option "open" should show up. Plus I think while hiding the character shouldn't be able to do anything until he leaves or somebody opens the door.
  22. I found some sunglasses and just thought about that, I'm not sure whether I just imagined it, but I think the sun bloom already gets less when wearing sunglasses.

    Zombie Suggestions

    I don't know if it's planned, but so far, the zombies I've seen are just standing around and only look into one direction, so it's pretty easy to walk around them. What about walking or even running zombies? They could walk (or run) randomly over the map, which would make it harder to avoid zombie attacks.

    Clothing Ideas

    I'm not sure whether this exists already, but what about the color of your cloths give you a certain camo value. For instance a bright orange rain coat gives you a very bad value and a camo jacket gives you a very good value. The camo value could be used for the distance that zombies can spot a player. The surroundings could influence the value too in urban regions a grey jacket has better camo values than a green jacket and in the forest vise versa.
