I once knelt to shoot a zed at a distance and another unseen ran up and 1 shot killed me. It was the only time I had been hit while kneeling not wearing a helmet. (I had one but was wearing the Red Star hat in vanity) Since then I always have one on, whenever It gets "Ruined" in one shot I always assume "Just saved my life..." I know there are stats and people have done tests... but as one scruffy looking nerf herder once said "Never tell me the odds!"

I seem to have no problem, at least on Stable.

I like to run the coast from the Berezino/Svetlo area to Balota, looting Elektro and Cherno completely, then going north from Mil base to Mil base (Vybor, Zelenogorsk, Green Mountain, NWAF NEAF etc...) and then ending up back in the north east where I started.

Because I carry two, my Mosin on my back and my CQB assault rifle in my hands. Let me ask you, who are you to judge what another free person "needs"? Does a free man have to NEED something in order to do it? Why do YOU need to shoot everyone you see is the real question. -

My first spawn back in January was in Kami. Long before the police station update. There is NOTHING special about that town, but it feels like home to me. It was the first place I found food and felt safe. The first place I ever found a weapon. When running the coast from Berezino to Balota, I loot all the stops, but when I see Kami on the horizon I do smile a bit more. -

All very cool, except for the players killed count; As if that mattered... Anyone could snipe from the trees on the coast and rack up a bambi body count.

Next time tap escape and it'll show you where you body ended up. Were you not on the 1st floor? If you fell through the floor that would explain the leg messages.

DayZ is what we make it, we chose our own gameplay style, we decide how each interaction will turn out. That said, it takes far more skill to stalk and hold someone up than it does to just shoot them.

I don't believe so. While I do not believe it necessary, I wish server history were timestamped or sorted in order.

I found a tent on a person in the stable servers, can I pitch the tent and not have it despawn?

I'm holding mine on Regular until the hotfix, I suggest you do the same. Now if only I could find one on Hardcore... I swear I've checked ~90 feed shacks; Only took 22 on regular. -

... why did you combat log bleeding just because you got the Left Click bug (a new and rare glitch btw)? You should have run far enough to lose the zombies and bandage, then relogged to clear the bug. -
Twice today I got a "your character was reset" msg joining an untested server. I was able to salvage my character once by going back to my Clan server but... the other time I was not so lucky. My advice, only play on the same server(s), only play stable and look around & count to 30 before logging out.

I've given out guns a few times, ammo countless times, never been attacked by the recipients. I have been attacked by a bambi who I just gave food to, had to put the idiot down. -

They do, I have one on my regular character. Took searching 21 feed shacks, tried to find one on Hardcore, gave up after 42 shacks. Good thing too because a zombie later killed me while traveling (I lagged, started being hit by no visible zombie, eventually got the black screen of death) so I would have lost it. -

I was in Zelenogorsk and decided to take out the one zombie with my AK (Mosin on my back) rather than dropping it and axing him... Then three come around the corner, then another 3, they kept coming, burnt through my 75 round mag and another 30... they never stopped until I switched back to the Axe. They ruined my Black Hi Cap Vest... never again... -
How is Target or Dick's sporting goods a "Supermarket"? Never heard of Wally World.

End game? This game has permadeath there is no end game. This isn't WoW... You'll never have a max level or be "fully geared" you can only have what want at best. There is no ending raid, no box for you to check off and say "done." You decide when you're done, the "End Game" is what you decide it is.
