I'd say Diamond/Club. I enjoy gearing up and getting everything Pristine, currently using a Tactical Vest, Mosin with LRS/PU Scope and all attachments and an MP5 with 6x 30 round mags on my body for it. The most annoying thing for me is a bad death. I don't mind dying, unless I've died from a hacker, D-sync or another shitty way of dying.

What's the current hacking status like in DayZ:SA?
emigrates replied to RadikulRAM's topic in General Discussion
It doesn't take a lot to realise that anything 60 or below is normal and anything 61 and above is wrong. Hell, I don't have a problem with people picking up the M4 and putting a regular magazine into, just not a hacked mag that will never run out of ammo. -
Google who made your device and what drivers there are to download, I tend to do that for all my drivers instead of using Windows Device Manager
-
Thought I'd do this for the sake of it, but why is it whenever I use Device Manager it shows as the best drivers are already installed. Even if I don't have any drivers installed for that component! Also, why is my Naga showing as a keyboard?!

I shit you not, that guy you killed is wearing the exact same gear as my previous post. Even down to the boots (which I stole off him to replace my own!). Must be a new script kid program -
There was a video tutorial made the other day about this I believe. Basically, when you put things into your backpack the game labels them from 1, 2, 3, etc. When you log out and log back in, the game puts them in a different order and potentially results in the item being deleted. Still, luckily shotguns are everywhere.

A potential for a future patch? :D -
I've learnt that "friendly" means absolutely nothing.

They know what they're doing when they pick up and use that hacked mag, they should also face the consequences. Having a rifle that fires an unlimited amount of rounds just ruins another part of game play. -
When I loot a place, I make sure to close everything exactly as it should be.

I should expect someone who uses an M4 that has a clipped mag should be banned, or at least temporarily banned for using it. However I do not believe it's possible. If I come across someone who's using a hacked magazine on an M4, I empty the magazine so the rounds disappear. Then hide the body, just for lolz. -

Do you know your location? I've got some spare time to kill and I can help you back up.

2 of us just entered the pub in Berezino, located near the church. 1 man remained on single silo and another in the compound below him. Myself and a friend entered the pub with MP5's and Mosins, cleared and we heard a report of 3 people approaching the house next to us. I ran up to the wall, our sniper hit one, I flanked the front of the building and after a few minutes we killed them with minimal problems. While looking around I found a Pristine Tactical vest on the ground with a protective case holding mosin rounds. I picked it up straight away and confirmed the kills of the enemies. I inspected some of their gear and found hacked mags for the M4, lots of 75 round mags and another Tactical vest. I thought it was sheer luck or these were survivalists who decided to get shot. We hid the bodies and got out of there quick via exit of sniper hill and run north until we could box around back into the harbour area. While running up the tree line we heard AKM shots into Kelm, all 4 of us decided to space out and investigate, we took a few shots and definitely hit someone but he got away. We scanned his immediate area and to my surprise we found the following just lying on the floor 2x Fully kitted AKM's (75 Rd Mag) 1x Pristine Tactical Vest on the ground 1x Hunters Backpack 1x Pristine Tactical vest in the backpack 4x 75 Rd AKM Mags 1x Hacked M4 Mag. Basically, the exact same gear as the folks we just slotted near the pub - right down to the Pristine Black Combat boots I took off the guy I killed. I moved a little to the right to see a dark skinned female, bright blue top dead on the floor and someone wearing the exact same bright blue top next to her but as a male who was alive. I unloaded my MP5 into them, saw someone behind them run around and start yelling "friendly, please don't shoot!" (In a very young tone, maybe 12-15) and before I could raise my weapon he disappeared. We had shoots from our rear, I ran back into the treeline and saw the same guy using an AKM prone on the ground - put another magazine into him. All 3 of these people had the same bright blue t shirts and exactly the same gear. It should also be noted that as soon as we killed the 3 people inside the pub area, I encountered D-Sync until we were almost on top of them in the second contact. We have got it recorded and I'll be sure to post it here when we upload it. -
Kudos to you! Although I was half expecting to hear the sound of a mosin to the back of the head at around the 3 minute mark.

Forgive me if this has already been posted, I took a peek and couldn't find this issue posted anywhere before. My suggestion would be to mod the way the Long Range Sights work, currently to zoom in on an object with the LRS requires you to hold the right mouse button (also the button to hold your breath to steady the rifle) so by the time the LRS has fully zoomed and you're on target, you have such little time to actually fire a shot at the target before you're out of breath and your rifle is no longer steady. How about using the middle mouse button to zoom in, then having to use the right mouse button to steady your breath allowing you to zoom on target and then hold your breath when you're ready to fire?
-
Talk about Nerco-post. I found out recently that if you right click to aim down sight, use the + on Num Lock pad or the - to zoom in/out respectively. The advantage of using this is that you will not need to hold the right mouse button at all, you tap it once to aim down sight, use the +/- to zoom in/out and take your shot when ready. Using right mouse button to steady breath when firing.

Bump!

Just to bump this, I'm getting the same error. Anyone have any suggestions? http://i.imgur.com/PrrzDSr.jpg

How good is the Lomghorn supposed to be?
emigrates replied to UltimateGentleman's topic in General Discussion
I believe it will put a round further than 400m, how far I'm not sure but from our experience with it (someone standing at the Northern Most bar in Berezino and someone just running down the tracks) with a bit of wind and angle changing, we managed to keep hitting the wall. Again, we couldn't confirm exactly how far it was but I would of sworn it was more than 400m. -
How does one go about trying to promote themselves as an Admin? Guessing passwords?

Depends on the situation I guess, if for example you were knocked unconscious and woke up, you could have been under for a long time - it would make sense that you're more hungry than thirsty. But hey, let's stop looking for logic in a game that has zombies, yeah?
