This is why I just join any day servers and don't focus on what the name of the server is unless it says night.

From where I understood from this, you got geared up and then died from a zombie going through a door or wall? This is a problem that the developers already know of. After all the buildings are added into the game, they will add outlines of the buildings and edit them one at a time so zombies are no longer able to go through buildings. So basically, after a period of time when they're done with the buildings, zombies will no longer be able to do this.

Stuck on "Please Wait" and how to get around it
JJCGalaxy replied to knight210's topic in Troubleshooting
This is one of the many glitches in DayZ Alpha. The developers currently know about this, but it's not at the top of the list for them to fix. The only currently ways to solve this issue is to reinstall DayZ, restart your DayZ game or exit back into the server list and try to join the server again like you stated. If it is stuck on waiting for the host though, the server is most likely down, but appears to be up. Hopefully this solved your issue. -
I'm pretty sure he joined a night server and the white things are the stars and the cursor.

Any more ways to increase frames? Mostly already tried everything
JJCGalaxy replied to JJCGalaxy's topic in Troubleshooting
I tried, for me the FPS doesn't change really, but it does ruin my quality. Also, wht is a better CPU that is around $70, pretty good and can work with my computer and everything else in my computer? Thanks. -

I'm not sure of my in-game settings, but I remember the resolution is 100%. I was hoping someone who knew that their settings were the best for more frames could tell me what settings they used, how much it helped them boost their FPS and if they tested and compared it with other settings. -

Hey guys, Do you know any other ways to increase frames? I am tired of getting killed in DayZ and losing all my stuff just because the other player can turn faster and get a shot on me faster than I can. I mostly did everything: Changed config files (scene complexity: 50000, view distance: 1400, max frames ahead: 1, some other things) Changed some in-game settings In cities I get around 10-20 FPS and out of cities I get around 20-30 FPS. I'm currently not on my computer, but on my phone so I am going to post the specs I already know: Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium Nvidia geforce 660 2 GB AMD Athlon II 220 Dual-Core 4 GB RAM If anyone knows a way to increase my FPS either by changing more things in the config or the in-game settings, that would be great. If it's the config settings, please tell me the values. I don't care if the graphics are low, just make sure it's not too low, that it's not blurry and that I can still manage to see items and players from a decent distance. If it's in-game settings, please tell me how it worked out for you and if you tested and compared it with other settings. Please make sure to include the FPS you get too. I'm really hoping to be able to actually play the game and not lag like a monster. Thanks again.
