    This probably isn't the link that Miggy was speaking of but it does show where Rocket says it will be a stand alone game that you will buy and get free updates for.. and he is aiming for a September 2012 release. Will it goto Arma 3 before then?     If I recall correctly, the gender thing is an "Arma2" thing.. not a "DayZ" thing. I played Arma 2 a little bit before installing DayZ and it asked me to decide gender then. So if your serious then your barking up the wrong tree. If your trolling, well honestly I've seen better.

    Yeah its a bug from heavy usage or something.. It happened a while back and the devs said just give it a few minutes and try again.

    Sniping is a part of pvp.. if not with sniper/hunting rifles then you'll get hit from 25 yards with a crossbow... yes it happens. Want to see believable? try trespassing anywhere in the Southern part of the US. If you don't get your behind peppered with rocksalt(from the nicer folks) then your going to get sniped with a deer rifle.( Just because the shot misses doesn't mean its a miss.. some good ol' boy is laughing hysterically while his buddy is saying "Do it again Bubba!") Just because you find it hard to believe doesn't mean it is beyond the realm of realism. So please don't start with the realism aspects of the game. It's game about the zombie apocalypse.. that's believable?

    Instead of taking out sniper rifles how about removing the devbug window so there is no more kill counters? This is about survival and not headshots after all. Need a confirmed kill? Go loot the corpse! That way folks playing bandits don't get a bad rap =)

    NO.. Not realistic in the least. 20 words wouldn't cover the weapons I can start with if the world went to crap.
