I've come to dayz through the standalone, and learned about the mod through that. I think I'd enjoy the mod more just because of all the features it already has. The "index of helpful threads" sticky can probably help me, but my main question is how to get dayz mod up and running. Since the stickied thread and its links are going on two years old, I wanted to make sure the information is still up to date/relevant. I've gathered a little familiarity through frankie's videos and I've played the standalone, but if there are any other tips/suggestions, let me know! I'll definitely be reading around here in the meantime.
