Full auto weapons are here to stay. Long way to go til full release and by then I'm sure there will be all sorts of custom servers. Some for the no mill loot types and others with loads I still don't see how the central loot system will work though.

Every scammer i have ever come across has declined to use a mic in trading. Which i lurk on the steam forums for trading in dayz which says something. If your going to trade having a mic at least for the first one goes a long way. Some people wont trade without one. Not using a mic also exposes both parties to risk as they try and type in direct or try to alt tab out and type

Personally mil tents are easy to find so I just let get wiped and then run to the nwaf asap after reset and get another

Never have I paid for gear or duped it and I roll with better gear than that and am able to gear up better than that in a single day. I also play on mainly 2 servers... It is easy to get gear by getting off the coast....

I do a lot of trading and I can tell u a full stack of netting or burlap is not rare or valuable to me. I can find 10 burlap sacks in an hour just by getting off the coast. Many items are so rare I would never part with them unless you gave me exactly what I needed. The highest demand items right now are ak bayonets, suppressor east, pso scopes and m4 parts. The above items are so rare I could find 100 burlap sacks before finding 2 of any(aside from m4 parts). Your in game currency would never buy you many of those items. Trading in dayz will always be barter for what you want. There is no way to setup a player run. Currency because so many players do not even get off the coast to find the best items. Unless your currecny is protector cases, suppressor east s or pso scopes.... Items which are so rare very few people have more than 1 of which makes it hard to use as a currency.

I second that... I am asking for them in my post but that is more of bait for scammers.. One guy tried to offer me a worn NATO suppressor about a week ago. He put on quite the show as well....

I have done a lot of trades both before the rise of tents and after. I have only been scammed once but have had several close calls and know how to tell a scammer. Everything Mookie said is good and I would agree with him. Here are some tips on what a scammer sounds like and how to trade safely in game and out of game. 1. Steam forums are scanner central. You can make good trades through there but be extra careful. TThis issue is complicated by the fact that the steam forums will remove any threads calling out the scammers. There are currently about 5 there who are quite active. 2. If a person refuses to use a mic to trade then they may well be hostile. they may be in TS trying to chat with their friends to take you out. Also some people are terrible liars and won't reveal their voice for fear of you hearing it out. 3. Scammers will waffle back and forth on trades quite often. They change times and locations and will often leave you hanging. 4. If meeting a random in game and trying to trade never just agree to go where ever they say. Instead you should both agree on a neutral place 5. When trading with someone from the forums or a random in game. I recommend you conduct business quickly and get in and out. Never agree to wait for someone's friend to come with your items. 6. Scammers will promise the moon. It is often wise to ask for proof they have the items. I have for example had someone offer me a NATO suppressor when they were not even in game. What to do when trades go wrong.. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have had the following happen before: 1. Someone logs out and are back at the coast 2. Someone died from loss of blood while logging in 3. Are traded was ambushed by randoms who suddenly ran a cross us (we survived) 4. Zombie killed a guy while he was waiting for me. When stuff goes wrong here I recommend you being genereous. It looks bad if people die on your watch. In the cases where players died I tried to save what I could from their bodies and bring it to them. a couple times their bodies were gone so I replaced their gear with my own. It is better to have to re farm my own gear than lose trust with the trading community. I also recommend driving them back from the coast.

stopped spawning cause the function it provided is now part of the cross bow/bow by default. All it ever did was allow u to load 5 arrows on the bow like a mag. Before then u could only "chamber" arrows one at a time like a gun with no mag

no what i am saying is i trade protector cases for items (i have some) but i will always accept more in (w/p) I am not trading cases for cases. Cases are like currency I will always take them but I actually dont like them with the advent of tents things just get too messy with cases.
