I have been kicked from servers which say Public due to white listing..... Maybe they are really private but they say public I swear.. Also what the hell is with Lockwood offical.... Public server but if u ever join u have a fresh spawn not your normal character..

Some severs have a delay seen it before. All my backpacks I left behind are gone.. I ahead this happen before on another server.. Logged in later that day everything was gone.

No NATO crashsites on non persistent servers?

Easy t suppressors are barracks mainly... I think an mi8 can rarely spawn them but their loot tables suck. NATO suppressors do not currently spawn at NATO sites.. I have hit a couple hundred sites since. 54 and there are none -

I am not supporting server hoppers who abuse the system to get gear... But for example in your case... How many people would waste their time looting a persistent on server let's say on Sunday? Given that loot respawns are broken and a top respawn ing due to random lootsplosions around the server... Most the time your gurabteeded to find jack unless you go farm a loot splosion which is just as bad as server hopping a barrack 100 times I play on two servers both ashes of nyc..They have a persist on and persist off. I farm loot mainly on persist off but when I wanna do other things I choose the one with the higher pop at the time so I can meet more people... I also will change servers to play on if both are empty... How are these bad things? It gives me more options to play with people. The single server only purists can enjoy their private servers if they like but public servers have their place. -
Are some trucks spawning with mechanical problems?

I second this I have found two trucks which even on flat services cannot get over 10kms -
I don't think it should be fixed but I think a couple features should be added which temporarily improve sway. 1. Adrenaline.. This is proven and natural and should be a state that comes into play when in combat situations briefly.. When fired upon by others.. i think as adrenaline state wears off your aim should deteriorate and become worse as calm back down and your body catches up with the exhaustion. 2. I always liked in the original MGS how you could take dazepam (I think that was what it was called) to improve your weapon sway. It was some sort of muscle relaxer. I think in dayz some sort of drug should be able to be used with a similiar effect. Add a risk for overdosing though and also make it so it limits player movement (can't sprint or roll let's say)

Assuming every said house is not already looted. However I doubt u actually kept track and to be honest your making an exaggeration to try and prove ur point. I could do the same and we would be here all day. Pretty sure each gun spawn point which has a handgun potential has an equal % to spawn any handgun. It seems to work this way for any sort of weapon spawn point. Some buildings just limit which guns can spawn is all but in the case of the engraved 1911 it is not a gun which spawns in only special places such as a barrack so I doubt that is the case

So u found 50 1911s in the past week? I have found maybe 50 guns tops this week and I do a lot of looting... U were just saying the 1911s themselves are rare... Any gun u can find 50 of in 2 weeks isn't rare.... like I said this argument comes down to personal exp since % spawn figures are not shared but I'd wager that each handgun has the same % to spawn at each spawn point.

Not in my exp... Unless u got spawn % numbers to quote from the game filed. It spawns the same place any handgun can spawn and it is quite common.. I find several every week

The 101 has been better than the mosin for a long time if u kit it out properly. An ak 101 with a pso and the right attatchments can snipe up to 1000 meters and can be silenced. The pso also has a built in range finder in the scope. Combine that with the gun doing well in close quarters and you have more space and usability than the mosin combined with an smg.

Agree I think the larger issue is that they label everything in the same bad condition system... Some items like guns should have various statuses The pristine-ruined status should only be if the weapon takes damage does it degrade. Dirty/clean should be statuses that can be adjusted via cleaning kits. Other items such as food should have a different system such as rotten to fresh. The bigger issue for me is how fast the suppressors degrade.... Good grief a pristine suppressor east degrades to ruined after like 3 mags. Not to mention I can find 10 ak 101s for every suppressor east. Need some way to restore weapon attatchments too. I think a workshop that is static such as an industrial building should offer tools to repair guns and attatchments to worn similiar to the medical tents fixing breaks -

The other half of this argument goes... If there are no real incentives for players to explore the map ( such as full auto weapons) then why make the Map so large... Why not have the de bug zone start outside the hills surrounding the coast. Seems to me they have a huge problem getting the majority of the player base off the coast -

Part of why I don't get how their approach will work. Also considering empty or inactive servers can spawn the gear as well. However they have not even gotten loot respawns to work correctly and persistence servers are a complete rags or riches state thanks to loot splosion issues. Personally I don't get the whole centralized loot system. This isn't wow we are not competeing for legendaries. They made the pm73 ultra rare and the gun is honestly mediocre compared to the mp5 or ak74 compact. This is a permadeath game where most players refuse to even leave the coast to get the good gear. -

Nope they stated that private and public will all be part of the same central hive.. This was stated last year when they first announced it -
Heli hunting isn't about the population of the server. It is about two thiNgs 1. When did the server reset 2. Who found a truck first. If you are on a server late into its reset timer or u have not found a truck recently then u are likely getting sloppy seconds

If people can have custom servers with custom loot tables on private hives how then do they account for those in the centralized loot system? If one server is all mill gear all the time and another is all chambered cr527 carbines we can't find mags for cause they are as rare as a pso" How does the central loot system account for that and give the weapon spawns out? If two servers have opposite ends of the spectrum of custom loot then how can the central loot system manage that? Each server would be setting themselves up via loot tables to have more potential for rare sorts of loot from the centralized loot system If you change all your loot spawns to mil gear then u have more potential to get one of those rare controlled items...whereas people with default settings would have less odds. Also if server owners want to create private servers with custom loot tables catered to their player base is there even a reason for them to be part of a centralized loot system? -

My thoughts 1. Server hopping is abused when someone hops loads of servers in one place to farm gear(which the OP Cannot prove) 2. Low pop servers are more dangerous in mill areas than high pop 3. It's dayz don't complain if you die 4. The key to getting good loot is not joining a low or high pop server but instead is to join a persist off server after reset and find a truck and hit all the mill bases in north west area quickly plus helis 5. Persist on servers are only good for loot the first couple days then respawns get broken by loot splosions of random places and no loot respawns which in turn ruins the persistence servers for anything but tents.
