i think what started the vitrol was naming it "hardcore"

I have tried to use it and my exp varies. Given a healthy full geared person could take 5-6 shots of 22 rounds when i tried it out for a week they would normally have time to react and escape or try and evade. Zombies require headshots or they nail you. The gun kicks like a mother for being a .22 which makes repeated shots difficult unless point blank. Also requires you to keep one extra ammo type on hand, only holds 10 rounds vs 15 for an fnx, no scope and no stopping power. Pistol suppressors are quire common and really a non issue to acquire.

Why when u can fly a cross the map in less than a minute with one does that even matter

I play mainly on Ashes of NYC. It is a mid/low pop server that ranges from 5-10 but peaks up to full capacity from time to time. I have a lot of encounters out west. More than you because people who want to play on full pop servers mainly fall into two categories: 1. Coast rats with welfare gear who dont really care about gearing up 2. Clans who want to flex their muscle with their TS and gear farmed from their own servers This results in most people heading to the coast cities and KOSing. What I like about my servers is I have met the admins and know them. The server ranges in size but there is always action out west. The server regulars are all looting Northwest making it more dangerous than the coast. You can say I am a pussy for playing on a low pop server BUT here is the deal...I can go on 50 man servers and loot all of NW and not meet a soul...whereas on Ashes of NYC with 5-10 people on I will run into 3 or 4 of them or see signs of them at the least. So server pop is a matter of context. If a server is popular and always full on the public hive it is likely tailored to those who want the DM exp. mid/active low pop servers like Ashes have a base of regulars who are not looting electro 24/7 cause better loot is Northwest area. The server does peak up during prime time which gives you a more varied population which is also nice BUT you always have the regulars who could be in that area. A lot of people recommend the private hive exp but I like having the flexibility of the public hive to meet up with others or what not. In regards to 1pp though I feel you are judging those who play 3pp too harshly. 1. The mod was not 1pp only 2. Not all of us have time to dedicate to characters on both (my reason I loved 1pp but I am too ocd as it is with my 3pp) 3. The game was obviously built with 3pp in mind with 1pp as a side note. (some many details you miss in 1pp only) 4. The wall peaking is an issue and breaks immersion but it goes both ways and the devs have mentioned they are working to fix/improve it

Well even the sawn off mosin is crap...only sawn off worth having is the shotty so I don't see why adding more would be of use. I think super let them saw off any gun and just ruin them

That is a glitch... Various servers wipe different things.. My tent and left over backpacks I could not carry were wiped with maintenance.. However my trucks for the past three weeks have remained parked where I left them. Meanwhile a friend of mine uses a server where his truck is reset each week but his backpacks stay

Looks vulnerable yes but given that the loot there is pretty low value it gets a lot less traffic than barracks and such

Tents are not high risk... Since they took all the good gear out of em most people only bother with barracks. But to each their own.

always worth checking. Traders will give a lot for a pm73 or ak bayonet

Ak101 imo kicks less than akm and 5.56 round are easy to find at tent cities

Even grizzly bears would most likely leave u alone.. The only bear in nature I know of which would hunt humans without a second though is a polar bear and that would be because in the environments they are used to dictate that one wants whatever one may find because it could be 2 weeks before u eat again.

I agree who really cares if someone spawns at nwaf... It does not hurt balance.. This is a game where u die u lose all. So what if u spawn and find an ak right away.. Next life u may spawn in the middle of no where. What they need to fix is the suicide spam. I think you should be stuck with the same spawn area for an hour or so. If spawns are random it isn't like people will actively camp them. This way suicide only works after an hour and u can get anywhere on the map in that time

No on stats... Just no Permadeath and stats don't go.
