Get me pristine tent on HC I can give u a pristine ACOG on regular but aside from that id say ull be hard pressed to find people with M4s who are willing to trade them. They have not spawned since .45 The only weapon more rare than M4s now are an SKS with a LRS

3rd person isn't cheating.....learn how to play 3rd person or just stick to FPS servers. It is a shame that Hardcore mode is considered HC just with first person forced....nothing HC about it but this has been discussed plenty before. The best solution would be to allow admins to have FPS locked regular servers and the add a real HC mode that makes things more difficult and allow admins to force FPS if they so choose. Then no one is forced to play either way on a truly HC server.

I have adapted by hip firing more now. It has worked very well as most people insist on right clicking to aim at me. They move so slowly like that which allows me to run circles around them. Sure I fire more bullets and miss more often but I just zig zag through obstacles to close the distance and before ya know it I am behind you cause you lost track of me. 8 players killed yesterday by myself with nothing more than an SKS without right click from mid to close range I even came out on top in a 2 vs 1 fight which was the only time I got hit.Most guys are like snails in combat now I couldn't believe it how often they let me get behind them. Seems like they want to keep their weapons raised and crouch...I have stayed standing and only move slow when firing. From an erect position you can run immediately even with weapon raised. These were geared people too the pair was a clan. Better to have suppressing fire and mobility then to have accuracy and sluggish speed in close to mid combat. I do agree though this new movement system makes campers all powerful but I just let them camp and leave ;)

The rate it takes to remove ur gun from ur back another player can kill you before u can react... Most people I meet who shoulder their guns do it for 3 reasons: 1. They have no ammo and want to appear less aggressive 2. They are in the middle of traveling through a save stretch and want to do so quickly. 3. They have crappy gear and dont care if they lose it. Lets see u run around with a kitted AKM and shoulder it when your near other armed players.

Ill shed a different opinion... The new guns do suck...but then again you need sucky weapons to make that moment you acquire an AKM a joyous occasion. Wht they do need to fix is a lot of the attatchments for these guns only spawn in places far removed from where the guns themselves spawn. All of the above new guns should spawn in civilian areas and so should their attatchments. The ways things are balanced now the SKS and mousin are the best guns to start off with since u can kit them up in cities. Then u head into millitary bases in search of an AKM. Most of the other guns are as hard to kit up as an AKM which means by the time you find clips for that new rifle odds are you will have stumbled upon an AKM or have been killed.

Anyone know how well the tanker helmet protects against bullets ? I noticed it can be worn with a gasmask so I would swap to it over my ballistic helmet or motorbike helmet if it protected as well as the motorbike or ballistic helmet The picture does not look very convincing as part of protection.

So last night I was meeting up with a player from the Ukraine to exchange a 75 round drum mag I had for a high cap vest on a hard core server We have met and traded items through the forums here 2 other times with no problems until last night... Just as he went to accept my call for voice chat in Steam a zombie one hit killed him in the fields. At this point he was upset and told me to forget about it or to even find his body and help myself to his gear. he had lost the high cap vest he was going to trade me anyways. Instead I managed to track his body down and salvage all of his gear...through some miracle the zombie must have headshot him and killed him in one hit...cause none of his gear was damaged at all.. I equipped his AKM as a second primary and picked up all of his best gear and temporarily dropped all the gear I did not need in the event of a server restart. The rest of his gear i removed from his body and placed on the ground next to it. He was able to make it back before restart and reacquire his gear. I even gave him the drum mag out of goodwill. I took nothing of his even though he had several pieces of gear I needed. Overall good experience and I did not do this because I believe we should not kill players or take every opportunity to profit. This was done to establish trust for what will hopefully be a mutually beneficial trading partnership in the future. So please take the time to check out the trading post and work out some deals! I post this cause just an hour before this another player whom I spent nearly 2 hours searching to acquire an item for a week ago told me today they do not want to trade with me because the are afraid i will kill them...even though I have made several trades with folks here on the forums & had i killed any of them I am sure they would have warned others... If that was too "carebear" for your tastes about 30 mins later I happened across some sap who does not know how to close doors in the barracks & unloaded into him (sorry Felix hope you enjoyed the trip to the coast)

The removal of the mask/helmet combination is lame since half the items in the game have some clipping issue

Because of players like this I play lone wolf or only group up when I have gear I dont mind losing and even then I ditch them when they are not watching. Very few people you can trust. I have only come accross two types of players I can trust 1. Those who I know IRL 2. Those I work out trade arrangements with on the forums (they could betray me but then they could never use the trading thread here to do another trade)

Even better protip learn how to tell where you are via the terrain until the point you do not need a compass taking up space.

I enjoy the feel of the game as it is now. Even if they slowed us down I like the gameplay more were we are treking around on foot and dealing with the limitations it brings. I like that you have to work to get from point a to point b. with cars it can become too trivial to travel....helos will be the worse even if they are rare. Adding vehicles feels too much like GTA to me ....i get others want them but I won't use them. I won't complain about others playing with them either but I hope the amount of cars allowed on a server is very limited like no more than 1-2 cars and that gas is hard to come by. I facepalm every time they make changes that hinder gameplay like the current experimental where u have to walk with a weapon raised and state we cannot do this cause we are not military trained survivors....BUT somehow we all are capable and knowledgeable enough to repair and fly a helo with 0 training? Contrary to what others have stated I can jog with a weapon raised and I never served in the armed forces.....but there is no way In hell I can fly a helo without extensive lessons. Even learning to restore a car to a drivable state is harder to learn then basic infantry tactics and gun handling but somehow they want us to move like fat kids.

i dont want vehicles... they have also stated that vehicles will be one of the last things they do.... Glad they are not spinning their wheels on that but are instead adding a host of other new features

Like half the items in the game clip ... My ax appears to have the handle protruding through my spine My high cap vest clips with the guns I hold All the other hats people wear with the gasmask clip with it. Why take the joy of wearing gas mask with ballistic helmet away from us :( ?

I say there should be an option to saw the barrel of every gun....let em use hacksaw on everything the same way u can drink disinfectant and die. Saw the barrel off your M4 and lose accuracy and the ability to use certain attachments...etc why not let em do it. There could be some guns it is a mistake and others it is not
