One of the few things we agree on my friend Having player rabid with cannablism who can feed off nothing else would make a very interesting dynamic. These people would be forced to populated areas to feed and larger servers. Creating a new class of player basically.

How much you wanna bet the duped items count as fresh spawned items and are instead given a unique number and this results in cheaters taking all the best equipment ?

I remember a few months back everyone so excited about the global wipe to finally fix the duping issue and remove all those duped items... People who played fair lost everything those who dupe still at it ;) This cannablism thing is pulling me back in though now

I think the best side effect would be if after a certain amount of human flesh your character became addicted and refused all other food and could only be fed by human flesh

So bac before the big wipe around .49 whih was supposed to stop a lot of cheating I took a break from the game. Curious if there are still people finding exploits to dupe items and or hack the game. I quit due to frustrations of having a character wiped whom I had kpt alive for several months due to people cheating. Dont wanna start playing again if the issue is still rampant

Less concerned with the hacking and more concerned with my game play being disrupted by MANDATORY WIPE to supposedly fix hackers and dupers which does neither. My play style is survive as long as possible and having a character wipes just means ill wait til beta or full release. Not complaining as I know that one of the cardinal rules is to expect that sorta thing cause this is alpha. Just testing the waters.

Hi, So on the current exp build .48 the “Hardcore” mode has been changed to “First Person” and Regular has been changed to “Third Person”. I am hoping this change means that in the future there will be a real Hardcore mode which will do more than just put you in FPS only. Below are some features I would like to see in Hardcore to make the game more noticeable: 1. No way to view player names online & possibly no way to view how many players are online in game. a. Not knowing if a server is empty or not would be good but it has it’s downsides b. At least make it so there is no “Oh player x is online so therefore I think he will camp here” Or “Oh that clan is in game I better avoid Berezino” by hiding the names of players online from all but the admin 2. No White dot in the center of the screen a. This would make aiming without right clicking more difficult 3. Make it so that all items aside from those which promise “Ballistic Protection” do not reduce damage done to you 4. If/when a stamina system is added make it so that you tire out quicker than regular 5. Less food and safe water sources 6. Bring back the ultra-dark nights! 7. Server must run a full 24 hour cycle a. Allow restarts but have the server restart at the time the time of day it was when the server went down 8. Make adjusting the range on the weapon/scope require the player to actually adjust the sites a. Take more time b. Possibly have an animation c. Nothing in the corner telling you the perfect range (you need to actually look at the range settings on the weapon) 9. Allow for both Third person and First person Hard modes a. Potentially 4 different characters on the central hive for all 4 modes 10. Lock the FOV and Gamma/Brightness settings to server settings What do you guys think of the above or would you like to see ?

Hi, So in game you can store pants, vests and shirts inside of your backpack and then place items inside of those items... For example you can store a high cap vest inside of another high cap vest and then place an MP5K inside of high cap vest you are not wearing. This gives you 6 extra slots essentially. This issue has been around for as long as I have been playing Dayz SA. They fixed the backpack issue but they did not fix it for other items such as these. I assume this is a bug but does anyone know for sure or if they will fix? I started a bug report here but no one has upvoted it : http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=13562

Yes everyone who does not share your opinion is a hacker or exploiter The same way everytime somone kills another player who had an M4 is a duper and the only people who kill them are hackers.

I wont be bothering with any server specific items... Even the BI official servers before persistence started crashing them more often than not were not able to connect to the main hive.... Private shard admins will certainly shut down servers with little warning or wipe them. Everytime I see an Alfie life video I just see people wrecking cars and killing each other left and right....do u really wanna spend a ton of time to get a car working to then just die running into a pole ? Imma just camp gas stations and wait for cars to come and blow them up. Not even sure if clans will move to private shards...I mean clans like to compete with other clans right ? A clan server on a private shard is just a bunch of guys killing randoms...if you have a large group who plays regularly you will obviously face little threat...whereas central hive clan servers would allow for wars...

I am willing to put down real cash that within a month the hackers are running AMOK again... Had the tents not duped stuff beyond the point of control there wouldn't be a wipe.. My tent had created over 100 yellow protector cases before that server went down...it was a sea of yellow out there man.... This get rid of hacked mags thing is only temporary they will be back...

No one will be up there it will all be the NE .....why run to NWAF ? only reason to go here is loot......always more players NE so my as well go there for the war.

If so then people will hardly travel at all...it will just intensify the death match in the NE....Sandbox game.... Think about it why get larger capacity gear or anything aside from basic med supplies and your preferred weapon and then run to death match ? You either die or get wiped. The better gear is only useful if plan to surivie longer and need it for traveling great distances to help carry items that are only useful when you survive more than a few days. Wipes on a regular basis just neuter that....or why even get a tent ? Tent is gone too... Might as well go play BF4 u dont have to run around as much and u die just as often. I imagine since patch .49 does not mention implementing the centralized loot system that they will wipe us all then too...which should come pretty soon I imagine

Me and a few friends are planning to wreak some havoc this weekend. All my inventory for trading will be devoted to slaughtering.....but will prolly be cut short by a flying immortal hacker...but WTH lol

Agree completely. Look at the context of why this is being done....because people are cheating.... So since a fraction of the players have exploited the game we must all be punished. I do not specifically enjoy searching for gear as much as I like the challenge of keeping it. I understand the logic but also doubt they will stop duping. I know people are gonna just preach ALPHA why not have one massive wipe when going to Beta ? If duping glitch is fixed the as soon as dupers die they lose the gear for good. It can no longer be reduped.....hacked mags could easily be identified just like the 60 round stacks of ammo and disappear.... I am always prepared to lose my gear in game but losing my gear cause of a bunch of cheaters I dont play with is just a headache

If they really do stop duping and hacks then I am cool with the wipe and understand it. But I predict withing 1-2 months people will be crying about dupers and hacked gear out Of control again. There are many ways to dupe gear and hackers will always find a way.. The people hurt the most are those who do not dupe gear or hack. But WTH easy enough to get 90% of the gear. Just means im on a break til .49 comes out. But yea mark my words people will be duping again in no time. This game seems to breed bugs which result in dupes.

Anyone seeking to trade should keep in mine we will all be wiped and lose everything next patch.... So unless ur thinking short term I suggest u save urself the effort. Personally using the week or two to reset wife aggro for when the wipe happens. Otherwise trade away to lose it all

couple things... 1. Your arm needs a splint ull get a lot less weapon sway (the game is bugged and does not update when u have broken arms from zombies). this is contributing to a lot of weapon sway (also you should not rest your breath inbetween shots for better results) 2. Maxing out field of view screws with the PSO scope range finding since the optimal field of view for it is between the I and e I believe (could be wrong) but either way the setting your using is screwing with the scope. 3. not sure what this is supposed to prove? You fired a ton of shots at gas pumps with both guns. I get that it took you less with the 101 but you also took more time in between each shot with the 101 on several occasions you fired 2-3 shots with the AKM in quick succession without resetting the aim. Also since the AKM has a much larger kick more time should be allowed in between shots to reset the aim. With so much weapon sway in both comparisons it is hard to say in such a limited sample if what you're experiencing is even significant. Also you did not finish off the pumps with the AKM and instead switched to the 101 so for all we know the AKM could have finished the pumps in the same amount of shots that the 101 did once you swapped to it. The 2 videos done by WOBO and agamingcouple on the comparisons between both guns were on zombies at decent ranges. neither of their results were as dramatically different. The gaming couple test was convincing because they killed 100 of zombies. I believe they mentioned the 101 was better but only slightly. Finally if you want to consistently be making 800 yard shots you may wanna consider a different gun than the Ak101 or AKM....your not going to kill many players like that unless they are sitting absolutely still for a head shot the mousin would be more suited. I appreciate the video but this does not really prove anything aside from the fact that your long range shooting needs work and your more comfortable with the AK101 which does in fact have less kick and is easier to handle....but that does not necessarily mean accuracy between both is significantly different,

Hi Would like to suggest the ability to store magazines and clips in the ammo crate. No reason they cannot fit in there and it is still related. I dont really like carrying lose ammo but would rather carry a crate full of magazines I can reload from. Always easy to find the ammo and reload the mags and go
