    Glad to see others are seeing this too, I feel more confident that the piece of shit who shot me didn't get my stuff, I doubt he would have got back there any quicker than I did. Even so I hope it gets fixed.

    Just a quick Bug you may want to look at sometime Mr. Rocket....I think the chickens maybe invulnerable to axes...unless maybe the hit zone isn't centered anywhere near the middle of the screen because I'm fairly certain that me and another player tried to chop that chicken about 10 times each. Wait...that sounded kinda weird reading that out loud...but still..possible bug

    Reminds me of my shortest life. I spawned on the beach and took a look around. Oh look, a group of survivors! Wow there's and bunch of them! And they're all running this way! Neat I've never been part of a big group before! Ok here they come, I better salute. "Friendly!" Alright here's the first two and- hey what's going on? Where are they g-ThumpThumpThumpThump! -Yeah only the first two were survivors, the rest were zombies chasing them...

  7. Yeah, I can get behind the heavy damage, knockout and bleeding, they kinda make sense. The zombies are ripping and biting at you with hands and teeth. But the zombies should not be able to break your legs so easily, if at all. Legs are the biggest strongest bones in the body, much stronger than hands and teeth. Seems to me that leg breaks should only happen from falling off terrain, which I do plenty of already.

    The whole evil military thing is WAY overdone, and nothing but a bunch of hollywood Bullshit. The military would be a person's best hope of surviving such an event. I still think that this idea would needlessly over complicate things but if it were to be implemented it should be as bands that roam around protecting some of the important loot towns or even patrol up and down the roads once or twice a day. Think like closer to those cannibals in The Road than Lord Humongous's crew in Road Warrior. I would see such a group being around 10 strong toting two or three with rifles and the rest with pistols and shotguns. Maybe even a couple with melee only. Maybe a truck following them with their gear in it. It should be something that would be probably madness to confront alone head-on but not something insurmountable for a well prepared group of three or four to ambush. Anyways, like I said before, its not a terrible idea if it can be implemented well, but its not really needed.

    I could see some potential for this idea but I can also see why people wouldn't like it. Generally I would vote no, only for the interest keeping things simple. But not the worst idea I've seen by far.

    I try to be a nice guy in Chenarus. Mostly I avoid the other survivors or if I encounter one we occasionally have some brief banter and trades before going our separate ways. Or they shoot me. After I had the drop on them and we stared at each other for a minute and I saluted "friendly!", butt-hole. I've only shot one other survivor in the 3 weeks or so I've been playing and I felt fairly bad about it. I had found my way to the tower at green mountain the night before and decided that the big light house was a good place for my guy to rest while I called it a night. Next day my character awakes and I walk out on to the balcony to take in the view and contemplate my next move. I noticed a few zombies below becoming agitated and they looked to be running off to find their next meal. Suddenly I hear bullets ricocheting of my tower and I drop and scramble back inside and pull overwatch on the ladder. I drop my smoke grenade down hoping to draw a screen of zombies, but I doesn't seem to work inside. Soon I see 2 guys climbing the ladder towards me, as far as I know they are the ones who shot at me earlier so I let the lead one have it at the top of the ladder. His buddy went back down and protested that they were innocent. He agreed not to shoot at me if he could come up and get his buddy's stuff. I had no problem with that I felt kinda bad but still didn't trust him. So when he started up I went out to the balcony and logged out. Yeah I know kinda lame but I felt bad and didn't want to shoot the other guy which wold have been the only safe option. Karma caught up with me for the disconnect the next day when the first shooting incident I mentioned before happened. But not every player is bad I learned yesterday. I found myself in Zub Castle with a broken leg after a little careless exploring. There were no medical supplies in sight and it was no fun anyway crawling around so I took to the side chat to ask for help knowing full well what would likely happen. Some enterprising survivor named Squashed something or other volunteered his help and I waited tensely for his arrival. After a surprisingly short time he reported "I'm here". I waited tensely on the second floor and eventually started moving to the stairs. A gillie suited head popped up and disappeared. "Here we go," I thought and stood up and saluted my friendliness. Miracle of miracles he was for real friendly and and had not only brought morphine but blood too! I gratefully traded my canned food for his help and we set off on our separate directions. And none too soon! Heading down hill at a 500m-700m from the castle I heard a fusillade of gunshots behind me! I looked back and didn't see anyone, and as the shots continued I determined they weren't aimed at me yet and so sprinted off as fast as I could! I'm fairly sure I didn't hear the AK that I saw Squashedsomething carrying and I sincerely hope it was bandits encountering their own kind!

    Quick report, zombie got me be cause i laid down near a tall fence that he was on the other side of but then he sort of walked no-clipped along the fence half on one side of the fence and half on the other untill he found me and the chase began. Otherwise pretty good so far!

    Weapon Suggestions

    Generally I agree. My main point was to tone-down the abundance of powerful military weapons. The specific suggestions were only personal preference, I'm sure there are may types of weapons that would fit the bill here.

    Change weapons while running would be nice but I don't think it can be put in, not sure. Hell no on the thermal sights, there's already too much heavy duty military equipment in-game.     I agree, also if you could find the right stuff you should be able to make pipe bombs. These could maybe be as simple as putting a different model on the hand grenades, though I can't say for sure how easy that is since I haven't modded arma before...

    Suggestions for zombies behaviour and design

    Would it be possible to make a sort of secondary zombie spawn area away from towns? When they respawn out of nowhere sometimes it looks really weird. My idea for how this would work is say you and a buddy kill all the zombies in the immediate area in a small town like Pusta. Instead of after a little bit, more zombies just appear in town, make it so that they spawn out of sight in the woods or something and start walking towards the last gunshot sounds, like they were somewhere else and heard the shots. Is something like that possible or anywhere near practical?

    Melee Weapon Petition

    Definitely needs some sort of melee. Its should be dangerous to use because you have to get close enough for the zombies maybe hit you too. Doesn't have to be especially powerful. But there needs to be some option for if you run out of bullets. I also like the knock down idea.
  25. Yes I'm not sure if this is the best solution but its definitely worth a try.
