best for now would be an intel processor. wait until the broadwell based cpus are released and you should be able to snag a haswell i5 or i7 for a decent price
-
yes, but as mentioned before at the end of development there will only be 10-20 vehicles per server. so 5 trucks seems ok

pump action coupled with mp5 on private hive mosin with mp5 on public

just curious, do the walkie talkies in game work yet, and if so why not use those?
-
yes traded as in kill them for the gear they were going to give you...

I would actually say keep the evga, but upgrade to the 970 ftw edition. Which comes pre overclockwd at 1200ish mhz

Build around a 4790k.. Can I get some recommendations on MB and RAM?
pigman replied to Irish.'s topic in Technology/Programming
if you can afford it, and are planning to overclock, the sabertooth mrk 1 may be worth it for the integrated fans and heat sinks along with the thermal regulation it offers... just what i have seen of it, i am waiting for asus to start sending out the mark 1 S version (limited all white) before ordering it -
agreed about the 970s, the evga gtx 970 ftw acx 2.0 retails for 400 canadian, comes pre clocks at 1200? i believe, and has no issues running any games at ultra
-
Sorry, definately the wrong place to post this However im not sure it deserved a condecending post as you can probably tell by my post count that i am fairly new to these boards
-
That ram set also comes with fans, Every part i chose has something unique about it that compliments the overall build
-
32g because some games have started to release high ram req optional texture dlc. Shadow of mordor comes to mind, requires you to have a 32g ram set to run the enhanced texture pack Also, the pc is going to be used for very detailed video and image manipulation while i am in university Will be getting a second gpu for sli, and a 4k monitor later this year. @the ram voltage. Doesnt actually matter as i bought all my components especially the board with its 2 integrated fans and expansive heat sinks to overclock both the cpu and ram.

Going to be building myself my first serious gaming/video editing pc. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/cT8NWZ focus on keeping the cpu/ram/and mobo cool as i will be running a i7 4790k at around 4.9ghz, and 32g of 2400mhz ram. 2000ish is my budget including the cost of a new keyboard, headset, and the OS any suggestions? refer to above link
