Player Wipes After Patch Release (Not In Experimental)

My character didn't get wiped after 0.44 patch. But others said theirs did. -

I read you have to take matches into hand and look at prepared fire "pit". I really wish they'd replace "place" with "pit". Or campfire.

Are melee weapons supposed to do no damage or are zombies just very resistant?

Machete is my go to zed defense. Way more accurate than long weapons. 2,3 hits. Sometimes even one hit. -
Vicious packs of wolves and burly roaming bears? Definitely. Tigers? Sure. One per server.

I certainly hope that upon Beta we have an epidemic of survivors starving or dieing of thirst as most people (it seems) have no experience keeping a character alive on the bare minimum without resorting to hold ups, banditry or server hopping. *crosses fingers for forest spawns* -
My joy comes at reaching far flung western sweet spots after village hopping, forest hiking, nearly starving and finding so much food/ industrials/weapons that I end up making "gear up" piles for some lucky lone wolf. I rarely ever even hit tent city.

Hell, you can belly crawl right up to a zed from behind then stand up and count the fleas on his head. Or...1 shot him with your machete. 'Course if you're even barely in his cone of view he'll be on you from a football field away in 2.2.

I literally almost spewed my beverage out my nose at reading JUST the title. Then I thought to myself "yep, that's all the game is...right at the MOMENT". Alpha "Early Access" opened in December. By end of June, a mere 6 months later, we should have a dramatically different game.

You need to explicitly detail your experience in a report with all server infos. Sorry I don't have the appropriate link for you. Maybe if players could log onto the specific server they could .....document the violation.

Yes, absolutely kick or ban. That's my point. Others are arguing AGAINST kick/ban for racist/offensive ign. Whether it's a pimply teen shit head or a skinhead isn't known, either way remove them from the server.

I would agree (to a point) if this game environment was limited to adults. It's not. Having a name like that might be especially upsetting to a kid of that particular race as it most likely reflects that player's actual views on Blacks.

I think the crouch prone script it a great idea! The main reason I dislike 1pp is when I'm trucking long distance overland. I don't mind it at all when I'm stationary for rest, recon or aiming down field.

Find a couple good servers and stick with them. Or Put DayZ away for a few weeks.

As much as I like the stopping power of the Magnum or the 45's, I prefer NOT to get within sidearm range of players. A assess the situation and make that determination as needed. My go to sidearm is the Amphib. Drop zombies as quiet as possible without face/circle strafe tanking them. Just difficult finding mags no matter how many tents/police stations I search.

Doesn't sound like it was the server admins who "kicked" everyone. Maybe communication between the server and the central hive or maybe an issue with your connection.
