I've just switched to Non- aggressive. Played 8 hours on a full server without a firearm. Just a fire axe and supplies in an improvised pack. Might add a hand gun for last resort defense. edit : only saw one other survivor. He ran away from my greeting.

Try lowering all your graphics settings to Low and disable everything you can. Then start bumping them up from there.

If I have a zed on my heels and no weapons or low on blood, I always look for a hill or incline to pull him down. Ravines are great zombie traps.

So I was in a Military building like the ones located on top of Green Mountain(I know, right?) and to the west of NWAF. Closed the door behind me as per SOP. Looted downstairs. Closed door after clearing that room. Went upstairs, looted that room. Then went to leave that room and couldn't close the door. Weird. Went DS and attempted to leave. Doors wont open. Lag? Tried for about ten minutes. Got spooked waiting for someone else to wander by. Changed servers(EEK) was able to leave the building. I don't server hop ever so logging out INSIDE a high value building was def tight butthole. Especially since I was only there to find pain killers for my "My leg is in pain". 'Course I groaned loudly when I spawned in. Lucky me no others around.

I checked my ping and desync on player list. No issue. Also never gave me Close Door option. Only Open Door.

Yes, GM is haunted as Eastern State Pen. Anyone been locked in one of those Command/Jail buildings? Wasn't lag . Doors just wouldn't open/close.

That radio tower and it's surrounding buildings are shrouded both in mystery AND bad vibes. Re-activation of the tower could possibly boost the effectiveness of walkies in Chernarus, but to what end? Increased EMF radiation could exacerbate the Zed situation by elevating their already heightened aggression.

iZurvive is a great app for navigating Chernarus. Search function lists all towns and cities in Cyrillic and English with map locations. Edit: Ninja'd by karl.

I play single player all the time. Haven't seen or been seen by another survivor in over a week. ;)

I like the idea of having to piece together usable bits over time. Cobbling together a bike in "usable" condition. In fact, we should have to do that for noncivilian weapons as well. Collect, assemble, clean, upgrade from barely functional to finally a pristine.

Being a hero relies nothing on how you are dressed. You will be shot on sight no matter what. I Just try to be helpful wheñ I can. Keep a positive tone of voice. Only step in to "rescue" when you are confident of success. Try not to be a dick.
